Pros: It's a cute, bright, roomy apartment well equipped with a washer/dryer and large screen TV. The living room was big enough to build a huge Hot Wheels skatepark. The neighborhood is nice, and conveniently located for my daughter, who lives off Tower Grove Park. The yard behind the building was handy for my dog, although if you have an escape artist, it is not fully enclosed.Cons: The host does not answer calls after 9:00 p.m. Knowing that, I checked in early to get the codes and let him know I expected to arrive after 9 pm. The codes did not work. I could not reach the host and neither could VRBO customer service. He's a nice guy, but I sat in my car for hours trying to reach him without luck, and did not get in that night. Also, a few days after I arrived, workers came into my unit without notice to fix the washer dryer - I didn't know it was broken. I was not home when they walked in but they left the place filthy. Thinking they must have broken for lunch and would come back and clean it all up, I was unable to shower or change clothes, and had to leave the house for the rest of the day. Then the dishwasher leaked everywhere and I could not use it. That happened in the first week sometime and it did not get fixed the entire time I was there. The place is older and stuff is going to happen. Overall, it's a cute place and good locale, but the host is going to have to work out smoother maintenance etc.
