It’s in the details from booking to check in to the room. Extending the booking by two days took weeks of back and forth calls consisting of conflicting information, un-responded to voicemails and emails, dropped calls, transferring back and forth between persons, wildly different pricing - finally on the 8th attempt and pleading for help I got through.
The check in guy watched my wife get the trolley herself and rather than help us load it with our bags he suggested that we pack the trolley in a different way then walked off. He wasn’t rude and he thought he was helping but just didn’t realize that this was not real help.
The cleaning service doesn’t make the bed. The thermostat didn’t work so the room was very hot. The breakfast was extremely expansive for something very basic. They ran out of beach towels one day etc etc.
Everyone is pleasant and helpful otherwise, it’s just clear that it’s a three star type place.
