This is a new hotel that is comfortable even with the tiny bathroom. The bed and pillows were good and the shower worked well. This suggests it should get a good rating but there were some issues: - The hotel advertised that bathrobes are provided but they were not able to supply us with robes for the 3 nights we were there. Bathrobes are important to us - so much so that we had cancelled another reservation and booked at voco in order to make sure we were in a place that said they provide bathrobes. This needs to be fixed. - The hotel’s compensation for the lack of bathrobes was to give us each a complimentary drink at the bar but sadly the drink was limited to beer, wine, or a spirit with a standard mix. It did not extend to any of the cocktails or things like an Irish Coffee. This was disappointing and far too little to respond to the missing bathrobes. - As many others have noted, this hotel needs to do something about the elevators. There are two small ones that are not enough for the size of the hotel especially around check out time on days when there is one or more large cruise ship embarking in Southampton.

Hotel has a modern design, comfortable beds and great location for those cruising out of City Cruise terminal (walkable distance to terminal with luggage). For a small fee, you can travel to the Southampton train station and make a day trip to Stonehenge or Bath. Great food inside the hotel's restaurant and breakfast selection was plentiful.
