Always comfortable rooms, great steaks and breakfast. We always stay here when we are going on a cruise as the later check out time is good, plenty of parking and you can have another coffee/ relax if your embarkation is later in the day.

Best value around (booked direct when Expedia hiked the price - worth checking if it's close to stay date), v helpful manager and staff, sorted a TV problem quickly. Good traditional restaurant and bar. Good parking, and eye candy across the road for yachties. Standard room clean, quiet, and comfortable, with fridge and iron, and better-than-average tea/coffee making. Bathroom a bit on the small side, and plumbing rather tired, but not a problem.

Breakfast took a long time and not enough pastries so we had to wait for them to be cooked. Stayed 3 nights and only 1 out of the 3 was my bed re-made, water and milk refreshed and there was only 1 toilet roll in my room. The stay for Sunday night was value for money but Friday and Saturday night it's definitely not worth what we paid, unfortunately.
