Our family of four have been going to this hotel for many years. The hotel has not been maintained and the rooms smell musty, the carpet was damp near the air conditioner, the hot tub has been broken for the past few years and a fence was placed in front of it. It looks like an eyesore. The stay this year was significantly more than prior years and they added a surprise parking fee this year and a couple hundred in taxes and fees at checkout. We were told it’s because there is a new owner. We do not plan to return to this hotel next year.

The people that service you are kind. They go out of the way to make it a good time for all. Whether it’s the kid’s club staff, house keeping, restaurant staff or groundskeeper.

Expected much better for the price

This is an older motel that does not appear to be updated. We expected much mor for the pricing compared to other available hotels

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We're sorry that you were not happy with our property - we do make improvements every year, but we realize that sometimes guests may not always notice them. Last season we replaced the carpeting throughout the resort, retiled most bathrooms, and replaced all vanities and toilets (among other things). We hope that if you did not have a chance to enjoy our beautiful private beach, our indoor and outdoor swimming pools, restaurant, bar or spa that you will give us another chance and come back soon.

lovely resort

I reserved the Red Jacket Beach Resort in the off-season as a gift for my Mom's 80th birthday. We had a splendid time, with very attentive & accommodating staff, a comfortable, secure room and a glorious view of the ocean. Highly recommend and will definitely return!
