South Pelion has a great range of places to stay. Within a short drive of the main area of South Pelion, visitors can select from 18 hotels.
Although South Pelion doesn't boast a varied range of Travelocity-listed rooms immediately within its downtown area, Aktaion Hotel is located in a great spot to be appropriate for modern travelers.
Have a look at the Skiathos Princess Hotel and also the 12 Months Luxury Resort. The Skiathos Princess Hotel is only 15 miles (24 kilometers) from central South Pelion. The 12 Months Luxury Resort, is situated 12 miles (19 kilometers) away. The Atrium and the Skiathos Palace Hotel are two other recommended options in South Pelion.
The wider Greek Mainland region is definitely well worth exploring too. Photographers will appreciate Greek Mainland's beaches. In addition, you should venture through a selection of the region's castles and traditional villages. Common pastimes in this pocket of Greece include snowboarding and skiing.
Volos is 16 miles (25 kilometers) to the northwest of South Pelion and is where you'll find Volos Port and Volos Municipal Theatre. "The hotel is in a good location, just moments from a beautiful beach, bus stop, shops and restaurants. Skiathos Town is only around 10–25 minutes away by bus, depending on traffic. The rooms are tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean and well maintained, as are the outdoor areas. What really stood out to us were the thoughtful details that many hotels seem to overlook — a proper hairdryer and, especially, sockets with USB ports on both sides of the bed. No more fighting over the charger or deciding who gets to charge their phone overnight! 😊"
