"We had a great stay at this hotel over the summer. The hotel itself was beautiful, the service was good and overall we really enjoyed our experience. Unfortunately, something happened the day before we left that was extremely disappointing and concerning. I accidentally, left my Apple Watch inside one of the hotel robes in our room. As soon as I realized it was missing, I contacted the hotel. The front desk staff was helpful and made an effort to located, but unfortunately, the watch was never recover. I immediately placed the watch in Lost Mode. When it was eventually turned on, I was able to see it's location through Find My, and it showed up very close to the hotel, in a near by residential neighborhood. The hotel contacted the police, but unfortunately they were unable to determine who had the watch or recover it. Because the watch had been left inside a hotel robe, I am very concerned that it may have been taken during the process of collecting the robs/towels. Of course I cannot say for certain who took it, but the circumstances and location where the watch later appeared were very troubling. I appreciate that the hotel staff tried to help and even involved the police. However, I was very disappointed that an item left behind in our room was not turned in to lost and found and ultimately disappeared. I hope management takes this seriously and reviews it's procedures for handling guest's belongings, lost items, etc, so that another guest does not have the same experien"
