If you are deciding on where to base yourself while exploring Sirmione, there is a wide array of relaxing possibilities. Travelocity's handy hotel guide shows 194 hotels and apartments that are within a 6-mile (10-kilometer) radius of central Sirmione.
Visitors who want to sleep just a short walk from the heart of Sirmione, will be pleased with the Europa and Hotel Belvedere.
In addition, there are a number of places to stay close to the Scaliger Castle and the Grotto of Catullus. The Scaliger Castle has accommodation in the area, including the Villa Cortine Palace Hotel and the Grand Hotel Terme. The Hotel Continental and also the Hotel Continental are closer to the Grotto of Catullus.
Students, families and those on a budget will find some great Sirmione accommodation options that won't that won't make the bank manager's jaw drop. 0.8 miles (1.2 kilometers) from Sirmione's downtown area is where you'll find the Bolero. The Hotel Arena is only 0.8 miles (1.3 kilometers) away. Different lower-cost hotels include the Degli Oleandri and the Hotel Clodia.

10 miles (17 kilometers) to the southeast of Sirmione, you'll find Valeggio sul Mincio, where you can spend the day visiting Sigurta Park and Cavour Aquatic Park. The Hotel Agli Ulivi and Hotel Corte del Paggio are just a handful of the convenient long and short-stay alternatives in Valeggio sul Mincio. 30 miles (48 kilometers) to the northeast of Sirmione, is Torbole sul Garda, home to the Lido Palace and Hotel du Lac et du Parc. The Customs House and Piazza Goethe are some more frequented sites to experience while in Torbole sul Garda.
