"I was “in-between” places and Sappho Hotel was in the budget, location and availability for three nights. "My room was very spacious, clean and, in addition to the large bed, was well kitted out with chairs, tables, etc - all things which make for a more enjoyable sojourn. The small outside terrace area was not only a pleasant place to relax, but included racks for drying clothes - most useful! There was an extensive range of food items - both hot and cold - for breakfast (taken in the spacious dining room). I only ate in the hotel on one evening, as I was trying out different restaurants in town, but the meal was good. The hotel itself is an easy, flat 10-minute walk into town along the beach-front promenade. If you're visiting Lesvos for the birdlife (as I was) then you'll see a fantastic range of species within the small marsh that you pass along the way. Magic!"
