The hotel is very nice, but the room was basically an overpriced box. No view, very small. Location is great. Next time I will look for a lesser hotel in stature with a better spaciousness and view.

Attractive in some ways, Disappointing in others

Pros: location, interior design of lobby, restaurant breakfast buffet, great front desk and concierge staff always polite and gentle.
Cons: The toiletries - both container and brand are inadequate for Four Seasons toiletries. Room itself was small and not very original or nice decor.
Location: On the river Danube so can have a great view. Near many museums, parks, St Stephen's cathedral and winter vendor festivals in plazas.
Having stayed at Four Seasons Budapest before I expected a great experience but it was half/half. The service overall is still top notch although housekeeping forgot to replenish soaps, toilet paper and toiletries that I had to call for this service which they did however immediately try to amend. The next day the items were still not replaced again. The room size and decor was VERY disappointing - you do get a very good view but for around $100/day extra that is a great deal of money. The room decor quite honestly was 2 star/prretty lousy decor. And the rooms were bland if not boring except for the marble bathroom. On the plus side the lobby is exquisite, the concierge, front desk and restaurant staff were 10s. The restaurant breakfast was amazing! Top notch.

Although I gladly noted that you took the pleasure in the beauty our public spaces and you were thrilled with the location, additionally we proudly noted that you have found our staff to be friendly and efficient, we have regretfully noted that unfortunately you were missing the wow factor that you expected considering our worldwide reputation. We truly regret that in your case we did not achieve this. Please rest assured that a good note has been taken of your impressions. I am sorry to learn that the size and the décor of the room you were accommodated in did not meet your expectation. Being located in a historical building, our rooms and suites may in fact differ in size. Please note our rooms and suites were recently renovated with the art deco style in mind and match the atmosphere of our historical building. However, I am truly sorry that the room décor was not up to your liking. We also regretfully understand that unfortunately you were not satisfied with the Omorovitza bathroom amenities. When we introduced this prestigious Hungarian product line, we wished to offer something unique, based on the heritage of Hungary’s mineral-rich thermal waters. However we understand that these bathroom amenities may not be favoured by all of our guests. Last but not least, my apologies if our Housekeeping service missed the opportunity to replenish toiletries during your stay with us. Thank you again for your comments. They are really valuable as it helps us to constantly strengthen our service levels. I hope that you will grant us another opportunity to be at your service in the future. Sincerely,

Fantastic view and service

Great view of Danube and Buda. Ideal location as easy to get to all other attractions. Hotel design unique staff outstanding.

A Beautiful Palace in Budapest

Our stay at the Four Seasons was wonderful. The room was beautiful with an amazing view of the Danube. The staff was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was worth every penny.
