It's a non- smoking hotel, yet there were people smoking in the elevator. You can hear everything going on and there was much litter of cigarettes' butts right out side the double doors by the dining area.

We do our best to ensure that smokers do not smoke in our nonsmoking rooms or common areas, both of which results in a bad musty smell; and when a situation like this occurs, we try to address it immediately, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting to restore the clean smell of our accommodations. Guest satisfaction is top priority at our hotel; for that reason, we truly appreciate your feedback about the guest experience at the hotel. We do not allow smoking in common areas at all and we will be implementing stricter measures in the future. Thank you.

We chose Comfort Inn because of the 4-star rating and the reviews noting it's cleanliness. Unfortunately, they didn't hold true. The facility is dated with water stains on the walls and ceilings. There appears to be minimal sound proofing as we heard the comings and goings of people ALL NIGHT LONG. The lighting wasn't working correctly on the main floor, forcing guests to walk through an almost pitch black foyer from the lobby to the hall. The AC unit was not functioning correctly and made horrible noises throughout the night. The restroom and room appeared to be spot cleaned with main areas only being touched up, made evident by the streaks left by the cleaners and the debris on the carpet. I cannot comment on the complimentary breakfast, as we chose to eat at a restaurant.
