"This is our 3rd stay at Governor’s Crossing in 10 years or more. We enjoyed it. It was brand new the first time we stayed and I guess when you compare it to what it was then and what it is now, you can tell the difference. It’s getting some wear and tear on it. The day we checked in, they had repaired a loose tile in the master bathroom with some type of silicone caulking or glue or something. It had a terrible chemical smell and the room was filled with fumes. It smelled like wet exterior paint with a hint of gasoline. I mentioned it…they put an ionizer in it…it went away for a few hours, but wasn’t quite as strong, but it came back. It gave me a terrible headache, but the place was full, so what could we do? We kept that door closed with the exhaust fan on and left the balcony door open to air it out. We stayed a week and it never really went away. The TV’s in the bedrooms are outdated and were very slow. The dish network hardware needs to be updated along with the TV’s themselves. The internet connection I really didn’t use, but my younger family couldn’t connect their game consoles to it and was slow on the phone, but the place was full, so I suppose the bandwidth was stretched thin. The carpet in our building was looking worn. Also, we had (2) 2 bedroom units and was supposed to be next to each other, or you would think next to each other or at least on the same floor, but ended up on separate floors on opposite ends. 5 out of 10."
