Home away from home

We really enjoyed our stay the location was great out in the woods but still easy to get to everything we wanted to do the bed was really comfy the hot tub was really relaxing we stayed seven days wish we stayed longer we will be looking forward to booking again also the washer and dryer was a bonus!!!

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The cabin was cozy, but not too cramped. It was clean, had everything that we could have needed, and was secluded enough to feel quiet and peaceful but not too far away from anything! We hope to come back soon!

Escape to the mountains

Beautiful little cabin in the woods. We loved the swing and hot tub on the porch (especially after a long day of hiking). The fire pit outside was also a great perk. Only complaint was towels could use an upgrade, but I do tend to be very picky about that. Overall great experience.

Long Early Spring Weekend

My wife and I stayed in this cabin from February 26-March 3 and had a relaxing getaway. The location was great. Private but close enough to attractions for a short drive. Cabin is exactly as stated, and the hot tub was wonderful. Personal preference- take beach towels for the hot tub. Overall, I would stay again as we were very satisfied.

Perfect Getaway and Location

So close to the fun but relaxing as if a million miles away… this was our first time using VRBO and it couldn’t have gone better or with a better rental. It was clean (even the hot tub- super clean), had everything we needed and more, perfect location, just all around perfect. We can’t wait to go back again and stay in the same cabin.

Great cabin for a private getaway!

The cabin was cozy and met all our needs. It was the dead of winter, but the outdoor grill area and campfire could use some sprucing up! King bed in loft slept wonderfully and we spent cozy evenings by the fire enjoying the quiet. Will definitely consider again.

Very comfortable cabin

Had to drive in an unfamiliar area at night due to a late start, but was able to find the cabin easily using the owners directions vs Google Maps. Cabin was the perfect size for two adults, but could easily accommodate a couple more. Very clean upon arrival, and had everything we needed. Mattress was firm, but very comfortable. Hot tub was not something I cared about, and was leery of due to cleanliness concerns, but after seeing how clean it was, ended up really enjoying it after long days of walking/hiking, etc.The location is up some narrow, winding roads, but that is quite typical for the area. It is worth noting that the location is very close to a gas station, and a dollar store so you can easily attain any needed items. You are a short drive to Wears Valley, which is a well traveled road leading you easily to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg in one direction, Townsend, Cades Cove, Foothills Parkway, Maryville in another. Would recommend the cabin to anyone looking for one in that area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. typical forfor the area.

An Anniversary Getaway

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Twin Bear I. The host was very responsive right away after booking, provided all the important info we needed and they made sure to reply to any of the questions or concerns I had as an amateur Vrbo user. The cabin was exactly what we needed, and provided us a nice reprieve from the tourism and crowds around Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, without all the traffic of a local hotel. The guest book included an entry from two guests who had left the same day we arrived and you’d never have known they were there, so I’m glad to know the cleaning staff was quick and thorough. I appreciated the instructions on how to navigate elements of the various amenities, through I found the instructions on how to turn on/off the hot tub a bit vague. But we got through. There were a ton of pieces of kitchenware that made it easy to prepare a few meals, and we made good use of the entertainment provided as well; watching a couple movies during our stay. Had a little trouble figuring out the tv, but that was short lived and we made it through. The only things I would improve about our stay was the supplied toilet paper, which was some kind of half-ply, and I felt like we were burning through it quickly as a result. But other than that, it was a lovely time and I’m glad to have booked with this host over others in the area. Absolutely would book with this host again.

The person responsible for cleaning should be fired. Bathrooms and kitchen were dirty. Two towels for a week’s stay for 2 people. The cabin was difficult to find even with On-Star.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here. We loved staying somewhere close enough to the major tourist attractions without disrupting peace and relaxation! We were happy to have somewhere to come back to after busy days that felt comfortable and relaxing! Dan was easy to communicate with through the whole booking process

Great Getaway!

The cabin is nestled in the woods about 10 mins from town which was perfect for us. HOT TUB and BACK PORCH SWING was our favorite. Owner was ever quick to respond and fix a very small issue that we encountered. King size bed was very comfortable. Overall nice getaway for our 26th anniversary! Thank you Dan!!

The cabin was very clean and cozy. The host is very quick to respond and is very courteous. Provided linens, towels, liquid soap, etc. Even left some coffee for next morning. Told us he want his guests to have some basics upon arrival. Would most definitely recommend and re-book for future stays!💕

Great cabin

We saw a bear in the area, so that was a bonus. The cabin was great, it had everything we needed. The slanted ceiling upstairs was a bit tricky to get used to, but added a special nuance to the bedroom loft. The view was great, we were busy hiking and shopping, so we did not get to use the fire pit, but the hot tub was relaxing and the cabin stayed cool. Would definitely stay there again.
