"The only reason why I booked the hotel was that it was advertised as having A/C. Sure enough, upon arrival I was told that the room had no air conditioning (as well as the entire hotel). Staff did not speak any English. Disappointed"

"I stayed for a week in June. The room was spacious and clean, with WiFi and an AC unit. Breakfast was what Americans might call "continental", with local sweets to go with an espresso, fruit and yogurt. The person who checked me in was very helpful and friendly, was happy to provide some local information, and checked in on me several times during the stay to see if I needed anything. The only downside was that the one-way street outside my window was a bit noisier than I would have expected for not being right in the city center. In any case, when I return to L'Aquila, I would definitely stay here again!"
