We had an unexpected death in the family and had to cancel our 10 day trip. This hotel was the only one who would not give us a refund. Luckily we only booked 1 night here so we only lost $170.

Front desk person wasn't very friendly nor knowledgeable. Our flight came in a bit on the late side, and when we got to the front desk it was quite a wait for someone to come out of the back. No acknowledgement or apologies when they did come out. Also have us no directions after the keys until I asked where we were going (on the key cards he wrote our room number in highlighter so it was very difficult to read. Very strange behavior) We then asked if any restaurants around us were still open and he didn't have an answer, he didn't know. By time we got to the room and Googled it, there were a few options. The room itself was fine. There is no view, we got put behind the giant awning so we couldn't see anything out the window. Stain on the bottom of the top comforter, dirt under the sink in the bathroom, marks and indents on the wall beside the bed, deadbolt barely turns, tv remote barely work, no extra amenities like blankets, and a phone with no instructions on how to call the front desk (we tried a few different standard, to no avail) and we ended up just walking downstairs to ask a quick question. These rooms are way over priced in my opinion. Definitely not worth $122, even if it was nice to have a king size bed (with stains on it).

Room had clearly had significant water damage which the managment tried to cover with some type of chemical agent. The resulting odor and dampness was terrible. When we asked to change the room the staff was unprofessional and inept. They promised to change the room for the second night of or stay but failed to do so during the day and then told us they could not do innthe evening because housekeeping was unavailable. We did not stay the second night, we left and found another hotel. Thats how bad it was!

The room smelled clean, but the bathroom floor was sticky and the carpet in one area was very wet. The employees or owners fought with each other in the hallway. They shouted at each other in their native language several times. It was very disconcerting. The beds were ok and the breakfast was ok. Not great, just ok.

Unclean, unsanitary, unfriendly.

Unclean room and unsanitary bathroom. Male hair covered the bathroom floor, although we had no males staying in our room. There were brown smears on the toilet seat that appeared to be feces, as well as dark yellow/brown splatter on the side of the bathtub. The bathroom smelled like mildew and there was a possible presence of mold/mildew. Obscenities were also written on the bathroom wall, between the door and shower. It was apparent that they attempted to clean it but you could still very clearly read the words. Comfortable beds. Warm pool but it was dirty. The pool’s depth signs had a brown film on them that was easily wiped off so it was there due to a lack of cleanliness. We arrived later in the evening with 3 young kids that needed to get to bed. I cleaned the bathroom myself upon arrival because it was too much of an inconvenience to ask to swap rooms or have the room cleaned. AM staff was unhelpful and short with me. The person I first spoke with was a young male, around barely 14-16. He got the “manager on duty” who said he would clean the room. I explained that wasn’t helpful to me, as I had already taken care of the cleaning when we arrived the previous night. Again, he said someone would be up to clean the room after 10. This wasn’t helpful and I felt that we weren’t valued as guests. My concerns about unsanitary conditions felt like an inconvenience to them. I asked to have 1 night comp’d and was told a manager would call me after 2:00. Nobody ever called me.
