Hotel has slipped in quality and level of service. Room not well stocked. It appears that there are people living there long term that cook every night and pit their trash out in the hallway. They also put out used cat litter in bags that smelled. This is a place that is not upscale and we'll never go back. The card reader for the door also was broke, had to walk around. Place is a dump.

The place was as expected. The bedrooms in the 2 bedroom suites are good size and there was a tv in each room as well as in the lounge area. The kitchen area was nicely equipped with some pots and pans, dishes, glasses, microwave, fridge/freezer and a coffee pot. They also provided dish soap and towels for the kitchen. Overall the place was clean, the beds were comfy and the staff friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

The kitchen did not have silverware for 2 people and that the kitchen and bathroom floors were sticky. We also noted on 9-30 that the front door to the building did not lock, despite a sign on the door that said it was locked for guest security. This was not resolved until 10-4. On 10-3, we discovered that our room had been unlocked by someone and was left open. Once in our room, we discovered that some prescription medication and a souvenir hat had been taken. When we reported this to the front desk, the clerk stated “so, you left your room unlocked.” We repeated to him that NO, the room was locked when we left. Someone entered the room and look some of our belongings. After sighing heavily, the desk clerk said he would have the surveillance video’s looked at to see if anyone entered our room. As of 10-16, we have not been advised of that review. This man’s attitude seemed very nonchalant and uncaring and did not really care either way that staff had entered our room was and took our personal property. He offered no remedy and was actually quite rude to us at the time of our checkout. The outdoor grills were not available for use, despite the advertisement that they would be. They were not covered, as if to be put away for the season, and were sitting on the patio. We were told they ran out of gas earlier in the year and were not going to refill them anymore for the season. This is the worse experience we have ever had at a Candlewood Suite, or anywhere else.

The room was clean when we arrived and looked like it was recently remodeled. They only clean the rooms once a week which is great for us. We don't need to worry about cleaners in the room when we aren't there. If you need clean towels all you have to do is bring the dirty ones to the office and swap them. All the appliances looked pretty new and they supplied dishes and pans to use. Office is open 24/7 very friendly and there is a small area where you can purchase food and snacks. They do not have breakfast but ther re plenty of places to eat nearby. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

I did not like I had to constantly ask for hotel amenities like towels everyday because they did not service the room daily. I did not know they did not come and clean the room daily ie make the bed or empty the trash.. If I did I would have stayed someplace else. It was quite annoying having to go down to the lobby daily and return used towels for clean ones at the front desk.

Everything was great in the room. Other than the hole in the bathroom door. Would be nice to have a continental breakfast, i didnt notice one.

Stay away

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: Near airport
Not a real hotel, just a temporary hostelry with a sketchy clientele. Former Residence Inn wing in need of total renovation. Everything dated, dirty and makeshift. The entrance is a narrow passageway lined on either side with smokers forming a gauntlet. Not very welcoming. The elevator floor is filthy. So bad we immediately checked out after seeing the room. Refund request ignored, no response from manager. Don't be tempted by lower rates; overpriced at zero.
