Old tooth paste spit in sink upon check in. Bed was vary firm LIKE SLEEPING ON SHEET OF PLY WOOD! Not worth the money should have drove home after the concert.

At a glance seemed clean but then noticed sand in shower, hair on toilet, food crumbs under & behind furniture (especially pull-out couch bed), broken bathroom door (took 2 hands to noisily open & close, due to hinge). Also, no shelf or rack in shower for supplies.

Hotel pictures are deceiving. You can easily tell they are cutting corners as they renovate. There was no AC in the halls or elevators, very dense the moment you step out of your room. I’ve never stayed in a room that didn’t have a mirror above the desk or outside of the bathroom, making it difficult for 2 woman to get ready at the same time. For as much as you pay for a room here they should definitely do better or lower their prices. It’s near water but not right on the water. There are bay views but very restricted. I feel with there being minimal places to stay in the area this hotel takes advantage of that. As well as the pool being closed for the lengthy time that it is the prices should be lower for that reason as well.

I have been staying at Silver Beach for over 10 years. It has had its ups and downs. It seems to be on an upswing now. Lots of improvements being made! Would love to see breakfast waffles brought back and the pool reopened.

Very nice hotel. The outside is a little dated but inside and the rooms are not. Bed was comfy, the shower is spacious and staff very friendly.

Good location, comfortable bed, charging lamps and charging station next to bed, new shower and bathroom areas, white bedspreads, table and 2 chairs, couch and ottoman, luggage furniture. Fast elevators. Nice fast efficent check in. New tole flooring. Could be better You can hear everything from hallway to inside rooms. Doors have space under them. Old carpeting in hallway and warm hallway. Floors and bedspread little sandy-- Difficult being next to beach.

I’d take a good hard look at Yelp reviews before booking this hotel. How anyone can give this hotel above 2 stars is beyond me. The ONLY positive thing the hotel has to offer is the location. You can tell this hotel at one point used to be amazing but clearly the new owners have completely ran it into the ground. The owners are of a certain demographic which happen to be very frugal where they do not reinvest. They only want cash flow. The property itself looks like it should be condemned and that will likely happen in the next 5 years. There is not enough parking for all hotel guests so people end up parking all over the lot blocking other vehicles in. The pool? Well it doesn’t exist as it was condemned by the city and permanently closed. The workout facility? Well the treadmill belt was sliced completely from end to end making it unusable. The fact that they call their breakfast “continental” is laughable. Stale cereal from a dispenser, no fruit, cheap packaged muffins and that’s it! The room is utterly disgusting. Make sure to wear shoes at all times. The plumbing doesn’t work. Sink backs up, toilets takes a full 3 minutes to completely flush. Don’t even think about using the Keurig in the room without inspecting the water container first. The location is amazing, walking distance from everywhere but you sacrifice a lot by staying there. I would give this place no stars if there was an option. Beware!!

We only stayed two nights so we made it work but we wouldn’t stay here again. We also knew we would barely in the room. The room floors were not clean, the bathroom is extremely small, our “suite” had two chairs (no couch) that had seat cushions that were clearly the wrong one as they didn’t match or fit, our balcony doors did not lock so we blocked them with the awful chairs since we had two toddlers with us. The lobby area is also very dated with cheap old furniture and not clean.
