Quaint and Cozy The home gives a very coastal vibe. I felt like I would walk out the back door onto the beach. We loved that it was central to all of our key points of interest. The owners have done a great job with updates.

Savannah stay

This cottage was perfect for a quick trip to Savannah and Tybee island! The neighborhood was quiet and just the perfect amount away from the main crowds of Savannah. The house was clean and stocked with the check in and out process being very easy. Communication with the owners was also easy and quick. Would definitely stay here again!

We didn’t get to stay in this house. We booked it, the booking people later called us and said we needed to move rentals. This was inconvenient and frustrating, but our actual stay was great

Great for a quick Savannah visit!

We enjoyed our stay here! The home was so cute and was located in an awesome part of Savannah! The house was decorated nicely but it was a bit older which meant it was creaky and bedroom doors didn’t close all the way. Not a huge problem but a little difficult if staying with small children.Overall, it was great

The cottage was clean, well appointed, and had all the amenities needed for our 3 day trip. My toddler loved that all the rooms connected but a different group may not love that. I was in town for work and the Thunderbolt location was perfect for us. Will definitely stay again!

Super Cute Cottage!

The cottage was super charming and exactly as pictured. Really nice renovation for this historic home/area. It was a great location for visiting downtown Savannah and then coming back to a quit residential neighborhood. We loved the yard for our Aussie although grass would've been nicer than the existing dirt. It was hard not to track it back into the house. But a small price to pay for a place we really enjoyed. We will definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this is a nice little place. It's located in a cute and quiet area that is convenient to anything in the Savannah area. The kitchen is small but has everything you need to cook simple meals.The beds are comfortable, and the living room space was just fine for my husband and me. This little cottage is old, so it has some quirks. Things are not particularly level, so you have to be careful stepping over thresholds in doorways, and I had ice blocks slide out of the freezer. The doors do not latch in a conventional manner, so they have hooks attached. That's fine, except that the front bedroom door to the bathroom does not have a hook and will not stay closed. It wasn't a big deal for us, but other groups might find that problematic.The water also didn't appear to be attached for the washing machine. I tried to use it but couldn't get water flowing.

It was perfect for my furry companions and I located in a beautiful, quiet area near the river with a fenced backyard. Super clean and Thoughtfully decorated with interesting historicaltouches and a well appointed kitchen to meet all of my needs. The large front porch and partially covered deck on the back was especially appreciated since it rained my entire stay! And The bed was so very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when in the area!

Charming & convenient cottage

Bright, comfy living and sleeping rooms and super well equipped & thought out kitchen. Everything was either brand new or a charming artifact that made the cottage welcoming. The only glitch was in the management's app, which said the entry code would be available in a non-existent tab. On our arrival date the code was provided by them via text and over the phone.

Nice house

The curb appeal was nice but just that. The house is at the street. Beautiful inside but the free standing tub needs safety rail to get in. Very high. Unfortunately i wouldnt recommend if ontent is to sit in backyard. The boat repair business behind opens at 7 am and the workers waved to me every morning . Property needs to replace 6ft fence for 10+. Other than that very nice.

A little disappointed, not recommended for older folks

Positive: Nice little neighborhood with some good restaurants. Good appliances. Comfortable mattress. fenced in yard for our dogs. Reasonable price. Negatives: No lighting in the backyard, felt unsecured. Bathroom doors would not close all the way. Old soaking style tub was slippery and no bath mat supplied. Could not take a long soak because plug for tub did not work. Shower curtains were at least 6 inches too long and created a fall hazard. One bathroom door knob came off during our stay and we lost time waiting on repairs. The sitting room furniture was not very comfortable and the boat repair place right behind it is quite loud early in the morning. We enjoyed Savannah and the Thunderbolt neighborhood. The price was reasonable.
