The room is spacious and clean. It’s about a 5-minute walk to a local morning market and nearby grocery stores. I had expected a washing machine in the room or building, but there isn’t one. Luckily, there’s a coin laundry just a 3-minute walk away, which is very convenient—especially on a nice sunny day.

We had a great stay at the Cozy Inn, Otaru. Building is very well laid out, and rooms were fairly sizeable, new and clean. There isn't much of a common area, or kitchen etc but that's fine as there is lots in the area. Staff was super friendly and helpful, it's one of those properties we wish we would have stayed longer.
