"Due the nature of my work, I have spent half my working life in hotels 40 + yrs to be exact. As a rule I don’t do reviews, but when i come across one that is truly exceptional then I will. This hotel is not the Hilton or the Marriott it’s a 3 star. What has got is a 5 star manager (Chris) and 5 star staff. When you walk in your greeted with happy smiling receptionists who a very helpful. The bar staff are all smiling and courteous and make some excellent cocktails. The food is excellent and drinks and food in my opinion are reasonably priced. The hotel in all areas is spotlessly clean. The rooms are quite large and ther hotel has been recently refurbished. I can’t praise Chris and his team enough and he has obviously got it right. A happy work force makes for a happy place. There was some noise coming from a hostel down the road at weekend, but if that is a problem, I’m sure they if you mention it they would accommodate you on the far side of the hotel. 10 out of 10 all day long fantastic "
