Acceptable stay, served our needs.

The stay was acceptable. The walls were dirty and in need of cleaning and paint. The curtains and shower curtain were quite dirty, and in need of replacement. The furniture is showing age. There was only one AC for the apartment located in the living room. We needed to run it al day with bedroom doors open. It was a two bedroom, two bath suite which suited our needs well.

Not fancy but clean and well located

Very well located. I had a 2 bedroom appartment with 2 bathrooms - corner room. It was a little bit cramped but it was nice to have a dinning table where we held meetings with colleagues. The appartments in the middle of the building are airier - with one bedroom. Very bright rooms. the balconies are a plus. Clean. could do with some modernization but it did the job. Breakfast is simple but nice and the upper floor including the breakfast room have amazing views. I could not keep my room past checkout time but they keep the luggage.

Great location, great value

Stayed at Versalles Suites for 3 nights for work. Great location to move around Santiago, with plenty of shopping and eats at walking distance. Safe area, close to subway. The staff was great and very helpful, will return next time I'm there for work or a short family stay.

NO INTERNET

The hotel is ok. Good if you are traveling with family and like the extra space. But nothing matters, the important thing is there is NO WORKING INTERNET. If this is important for you dont stay here. First they tell you to not use in room, only at lobby as signal is not strong, then the one in the lobby fails, then they give you the password of the restaurant next door. That also fails. In 3 days I pent hours and hours trying to send and receive mey emails, forget about streaming or SKYPE

Pleasant Hotel, but ........... don't book it.

The suite was very comfortable and well laid out. The view of the Andes and the city was stunning. The promised WIFI did not work for the whole time we were in the hotel. Breakfast was inadequate with canned fruit salad and inedible scrambled eggs. On the other hand the buns were tasty and warm and the coffee was OK. On our last morning breakfast was in shambles. When we arrived there were no buns, no eggs, no meat and cheese, no coffee and no plates. When we asked when the coffee would be ready, the answer was "tomorrow." We waited 15 minutes. There were still no plates, no buns and the coffee was scheduled for the next day. We went to a cafe for breakfast. The staff at reception varied. Some were exceptionally helpful. Others were not. e.g. I checked to see if I could print my boarding pass on the hard wired computers in the lobby. "Yes" They would not print. At which point I was told, "You can only print from the computer on the left." The same staff member forgot to order out cab to the airport. All of these complaints may sound petty, but when they add up they result in a less than pleasant stay.

Santiago Stopover

The NICEST people in Santiago. So helpful. Also a wonderful shower,wonderful clean and comfy beds,great neighborhood, nice layout,terrific view from the breakfast room. The place is quite hot in January though and there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms - only in the living room. The kitchen is great but the living room could use some furniture updates. The wi-fi didn't work but they were trying to fix it. They let us keep our luggage there all day after we checked out, printed out our boarding passes and found us great transportation to the airport. Loved France!

The placed is located in "las condes" area. An up market neighbourhood where the the national HQ of big businesses are based. The apartments are spacious and the staff are friendly although their English is limited. The swiming pool does not exist any more.... Instead there is a breakfast terrace with a nice view of the city.

Nice Hotel near the metro.

A nice hotel near the metro in the heart of Providencia. The second bedroom is rather small, but the value is good, the internet is "OK", and the front desk staff is helpful. A nice alternative to the same-old same-old in hotels. (The ladies who run the breakfast every morning are fabulously friendly, too.)

Nice location, reasonable setup.

It is a great location, convenient to transit, restaurants, and shopping. The bedrooms are underfurnished and small (esp. one of the bedrooms), and the "king bed" is only a queen, but it is still a nice setup. The "living area" is very large and well-appointed, which is good for a group of computer hackers like my posse. (And wifi is slow, but acceptable even for us.)

The rooms look nice, but there is a lot of noise and the beds are very bad. I arrived at 10 AM, very tired from a night long trip, and they charged me a full day for giving me the room before 2 PM. I find that terrible, and will never go back to that place. The price was quite expensive for what you get.

Versailles Suites Santiago

This hotel is in the Los Condes section of Santiago. It is an easy walk to many nice restaurants, shops and the Metro. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast included on the 17th floor with a lovely view of the city. We were able to get around on the metro to many attractions, both in town and as far as Concha Y Toro vineyards for the wine tour and tasting. I would stay here again, next time we travel to Santiago. It's about 20 minutes from the airport by cab.

We arrived at this hotel at 01:00 am. It was so filthy we left with our bags in tow and walked the streets of Santiago to find a real hotel. The person at the desk was of no help. Do not even consider this hotel.

As a 3 1/2 stars and price, I can recommend it. We prepare our own breakfast, it's more comfortable and better. It is clean but the carpet in room would improve with a wash.
