Perfect

Perfect location, just a few blocks from the nighttime action, which meant it was quiet. Air conditioning and hot water worked great. Kitchenette and living room made it feel like your own apartment in the city. Clean, updated and convenient. Will definitely go back!

Great value for your money

The apartments offered in Bellavista Travel Suites have everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly and the location is perfect, you are near the Bellavista neighborhood which is full of things to do, especially great restaurants.

There are better places nearby

Great at first glance. Large room, with a kitchen and sitting area, large balcony, as well as a walk-in closet (more space than you would ever need), but it wasn't clean. It didn't look like they had swept. Hairs on the sheets. Towels were stained. Uncomfortable bed. Difficult to find. It's at the very top of the street. Spotty wifi in the rooms. Quiet, safe area but about a ten minute walk to restaurants. I moved to a different hotel in the same area after the first few nights.

Good Price at BellaVista neighborhood.

It is a very good apartment, with a good price. It is located in a neighborhood with very good restaurants but far way from subway, so you will need a car to move around. It is a very good place for a family with kids.

Excellent location...excellent location!!!

Excellent place for those who want to walk to the city. We found very nice restaurants, shops, markets and theater shows nearby and were very few blocks from the museum and to nightclubs. Will definitely stay there again!!!

Great potential but needs maintenance

Great potential but needs maintenance - little things such as window blinds, screws. With a little effort by staff (NOTE: MANAGEMENT) this place could be amazing. Choose the top level: you get a vast roof terrace with your balcony. Night staff can be friendlier and more helpful.

Good apartment, good location, good value

The place is an apartment with one room, kitchenette and well-equipped bathroom, located in a quiet street in Providencia, five blocks from the subway and at walking distance from a lot of restaurants. The apartment was an excellent value. It`s a little tricky to find it because is a dead end street.

Good experience except for indemnity

The BellavistaTravel Suites fulfilled expectations in what you are paying for. My only concern was that I had to sign an indemnity form in respect to any damage which was only in Spanish. It would have been fair if they had a copy of the form in English to exactly know what you are signing. The fact was that if you didn't sign the form then you couldn't have the suite.

This hotel is in an excellent location. It is quiet but close to lots of restaurants and night life. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. There are many universities right in the neighborhood, so there are lots of young people around.

Great Location

When I saw the hotel from the outside, I was wondering what the other visitors in my shuttle bus were thinking, who were all going to 5 star hotels in the pristine part of town. But once I got inside, I was pleasantly relieved. As the name states, the hotel is a suite, set up for long-term visitors: there is a garage for parking your car, inside, the room has a small kitchen and living area set off from the bedroom, a large walk-in closet and bathroom. So, much more space than a regular hotel room. The wall paper was old and a little dirty, but otherwise everything looked clean to me. The location is WONDERFUL. Within walking distance of the Pablo Neruda museum, a whole array of restaurants and bars, and tourist shops. Also, it is easy to get to the center of town either by walking or taking the subway. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast so I suggest buying coffee and something to eat if you need it in the morning since coffee shops don't open until about 10 am. Staff was nice - I have no complaints.

Apartment-like hotel in Bella Vista Barrio

BV Travel Suites was well suited to our group with the two bedroom suite. Each bedroom was truly separate, which turned out to be especially good when one member of our party came down with a bad cold and just needed to sleep. We were also very happy with the location in the evolving BV neighborhood. Staff was friendly and helpful, but we marked down service because they did not always have an English speaker on duty. Maintenance could improve, oven was non-working and drapes were touchy. We would come again, because folks there seem to want to improve.

OK find in Bellavista

Hotel was a bit difficult to access, due to the locked gates (for both walk-in service and for parking). Attendant at the front desk was friendly, but only spoke spanish. The key for our door was both huge and very difficult to use - it took us more than five mintues to get the door to our room unlocked and open! Once inside, the apartment was clean, but a little run-down. It's definitely within walking distance of a lot of restaurants, but the neighborhood is noisy. We were woken several times that night with barking dogs - even with the windows closed and A/C on! They did have a laundry room attached to the garage, which was a plus. This hotel was an OK find - I don't think I would recommend it to a friend.

An excellent hotel in good location

Far better value for money than the apartment hotels located in the Centro. Exceptionally clean with crispy sheets - the quality that one would expect from 4-5 star hotels. Great staff. Located less than 10 minute walk from the Bella Vista entertainment hub and 5-7 minute walk to the Salvador metro station. Safe and quiet neighbourhood. The only drawback - no supermarket

Good choice for Chile

It's in the center of the bohemian artsy quarter of Santiago (Bellavista) but far enough from the Bars to avoid the noise... everything is very good, with two things to accept: 1- you are in Chile, so if the Internet fails and it takes a day to make it work again, you shouldn't get annoyed... it's the telecom operator and not the fault of the hotel... 2- you will hear dogs hauling at night, which might wake you up, since there are quite a lot of street dogs in the neighborhood...
