Series of Unfortunate Conditions

I stayed in the basement and it was not clean. The room was not well lit, the ceiling had peeling paint, the floors were coming up in the corner, the furniture was old and worn. The toilet wouldn’t flush and the heater wouldn’t heat the room properly. The lock was also falling out of the door, so I had no idea if someone would come in and take my stuff. I booked for 2 nights and the first night I was already booking my next hotel. I checked out after my first night, but booked a non refundable price so I had to waste money on the second night I didn’t stay there. Also, this is NOT the Tremo in Bellavista, só don’t make that mistake

Clean and comfortable

This hotel was clean and comfortable, the room had a smart TV which was great for Netflix! The staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was quite basic and a little disappointing.

Room was mediocre at best. The curtain fell and the door to the balcony was broken so wouldn’t lock nor open to allow exit. Soap and shampoo are of the lowest quality. Matress is from the late 80’s... breakfast is very poor. The instant Coffee (yes instant) was cold. Not recommend

Not worth visiting.

Horrible toilet smell on the ground floor, no wifi on the terrace area, very noisy and loud, beds and sheets are not we cleaned, random half punched nails on the ground, I cut my foot on one of them. Absolutely shocking.

Nice hotel, in the center of the city

Nice location, near a metro station and in the center of the city. The room was big enough, clean and comfortable, but it was a little noisy because it's located at the edge of the street where there's a bus stop. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Horror show!

The photos on Travelocity are obviously Photoshopped. This place is a complete dump! Filthy floors, walls and curtains; smells like cockroach spray; protruding bed springs! Travelocity should attempt to vet such a dump! As the Tremo group has a number of listings I would assume that the rest of the hotels in this "chain" or of the same abysmal state...owners obviously just making a buck and not maintaining the property. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!

Pleasant and convenient stay

This location is central to many of Santiago's attractions. The room was surprisingly large, and had a separate stove/kitchen area. Bathroom was very clean, and the room in general felt nice to walk into. The staff greeted me courteously, and were very helpful and willing to help when I needed to ask for directions or suggestions. I would definitely book this again when I return to Santiago.

Decent hotel and close to downtown.

I booked this hotel on a whim. It turned out to be not bad. The room is nice and has a little kitchen and refrigerator. Bathroom is very spacious. It has a closet with a safety box. The hotel itself does not have an elevator. It has a spiral stairs. There isn't much room at the receptionist area. Thus, it has a roof top where the breakfast takes place. There is a 24 hours front desk. During the time I stayed, the TV didn't work. If you are a slight sleeper, you will get distracted by the noise. Overall, this place is a 3 stars plus.

Worst place ever!!!

Stop saying it has parking because is a complete lie. The staff is no help and let me with the problem to solve alone. The room is nice spite from the fact it has a window in the door and you have light 24x7 and it's impossible to sleep with that and the noise. The surroundings are bad and it's about 2 blocks from the real Parque Forestal. They should say we are near the Mercado Central instead.

Great Experience

We had a very good experience at the Tremo Hotel. The beds were fantastic with crisp sheets and soft lovely blankets. The room was spacious. The staff was helpful with bags and information. Breakfast on the sixth floor was great. Enjoyed the view while eating. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrive at 3 am on January 1st it was super secure both of the check in agents extremely nice - room was super clean - not a super fancy hotel but perfect for family with kids and location is fantastic

O hotel é bem localizado, embora quem fique nos quartos dos primeiros andares é prejudicado porque na frente tem um ponto de onibus. Embora os funcionários não sejam simpáticos, atendem os pedidos feitos. O café da manhã deve melhorar muito. Mas, no geral, foi uma boa experiência.

El hotel tiene una linda vista desde la terraza. El personal es muy amable. El desayuno es simple, con café instantáneo (inaceptable). Algunos detalles de limpieza deben mejorar. El hotel no tiene estacionamiento, detalle importante a tener en cuenta ya que en la página aseguran que sí, (recomiendo consultar por la opción multi día del estacionamiento subterráneo Parque Forestal que se encuentra al frente del hotel, 20.000clp por día aprox.). La ubicación de la aplicación de Hoteles.com está mal. En general, un poco caro por el servicio que ofrece.
