Hotel is in good condition though it could do with better housekeeping. We stayed for 3 nights and they only emptied the trash once. Never made the bed nor did other cleaning. Because of this, you can see little things not being taken care of such as stains on the bathroom floor. Staff at front desk were friendly.

The hotel is within walking distance of the best places to be in Santa Cruz. However, the parking is $30/per night and seems Thebes sheets this time were not fresh or washed properly. Staff are as friendly and accommodating as they can be. Thanks

We arrived at night in the rain. We couldn't locate the front door. We went into Valet parking to ask for assistance. The valet said the elevator was in there. She said we could pay $30 for valet OR park on the street and take the elevator to the lobby. On the street parking was on the other side of the building AND the gate to get into the building was locked for the night, so my daughter & I would have to walk, with our luggage in the rain, around the block. I paid for valet and we checked into our room. The front desk clerk was very nice. Our room was nice with great amenities. We went to shower before we headed to dinner and found that the bathroom door was swollen or broken, it rubbed on the floor and only opened half way. There was plastic around a few of our lights too. When we checked out in the morning, we went to valet where we were greeted by a young man. We gave him our ticket and he handed us our keys. He then pointed across the parking lot to where our car was parked. We paid $30 for valet and this young man couldn't be bothered to actually "valet" our car. The room was nice BUT the service was awful and we will never stay here again. Our child is in college up here and we visit 3-4x a year. This hotel will NOT be on our list.

Hotel, room, location were all superb! However the valet crew were very much in need of customer service training. I wasnt compelled to tip until check out. Finally I had the chance to tip valet when thw morning crew came. They were extremely attentive, quick, and respectful.

Was there for 4 days. Housekeeping never came on there own had to request housekeeping on our last day. Asked for new towels twice and they were never brought up had to go down and talk to front desk. Honestly the worst hotel stay ever!
