The property was great and the host reponds to questions quickly. The apartment was spacious and quiet. It is very close to activities in the rainforest and Fajardo activities are a short drive away. We had trouble with nearby beach access because the property is not on the beach and many properties have gated off their beach access. We ended up going to Loquillo (10-15 minute drive) and Seven Seas (30 minute drive), which are both great, but a bit further away than we were expecting.

I felt the host was passive aggressive. I did not feel comfortable there at all. I stayed for six weeks. Whenever I brought up an issue he got very defensive. I told him that there was a speaker blown out on the TV and he said I probably turned it up too loud and broke it. There was mold in several spots. He did have someone paint the area in the bathroom, but not in the bedroom. There was a leak in the bathroom sink underneath and they fixed the leak but put towels down and told me to change out the towels. Whenever you opened up the cabinet, you had a big whiff of mildew mold smell. It was also that way every time I opened up the silverware drawer , you would inhale the smell of mold and mildew. He said someone would be in every 10 days to clean, but it was more like changing the sheets and washing the Floors. At one of the 10 day interval, he pushed it out to 14 days so he wouldn’t have to do it again one more time before we left. He also told me to get out of the condo when then housekeepers were coming. He would notify us a few hours prior to and then change the time several times. The new linens they brought in at times had a faint smell of cigarette smoke. The whole time we were there there were dusty rags on top of the cabinets and old boxes from light fixtures on top of the refrigerator. I also asked him if he had a bigger pot to cook in and maybe a colander since I would be there for six weeks and the place sleeps six people.. he said no it is equipped just fine.

This was a complete delight. From better than stated amenities, to great location. The condo is situation right next to security with great parking and near pool. Great food choices within mintues , beaches and rainforest 30 minutes or less.

Place was perfect for a family of 6… we enjoyed the house, the pool and the area.The only thing I wish I knew before booking is that no smoking is allowed anywhere in the complex , this is not per the apt owneR , this is a HOA rule . The security staff at the gate were very friendly and so helpful .

There is no beach view or any nice view at all. The unit was going through a remodel on the outside. It was a little noisy at times during the morning. The area around the back could have been a little cleaner. The apartment itself was clean and meet ours needs while we were there.

The place was beautiful and matched the description. It was mostly clean although the bathrooms had so much black mold underneath the shower mats. That was super disappointing. If it weren’t for that, I’d give this place a 5/5

The apartment had potential, but there were a few issues during our stay. A few items were broken, and the cleanliness didn’t quite meet expectations. I’ve shared photos and feedback with the host, who I hope will follow up with the cleaning and maintenance team.That said, the location was great — very convenient and enjoyable — and the host responded very quickly to our messages, which we really appreciated. With a bit more attention to detail, this could be a much better experience for future guests.

Nice, spacious place, pool was large (though with strange restrictive rules). You have to wait for the guard to let you in who is sometimes on patrol, but the wait was never more than a few minutes. Very well equipped with beach supplies. Wasn't totally clean when we arrived.

Happy with our stay

The apartment was exactly what we needed and the location was perfect. The place was spacious, clean and well maintained. We were a party of 6 and felt comfortable. The host always responded quickly when I asked questions and provided great dinner and beach options. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to stay in the Rio Grande area.

Great Stay

We had a great stay. Nice size condo for a family, gated community, a short drive and walk to a fairly secluded beach. We also enjoyed the close proximity to Luquillo and El Yunque. We would definitely stay here again.
