This is a somewhat challenging review because some parts of this VRBO were excellent while others were just so-so.First—and perhaps most importantly—this is a very safe area of Puerto Rico, and the property felt extremely secure. From the gated entrance to the neighborhood to the additional gated entrance to the housing area, we always felt comfortable.The house itself is very large and could easily accommodate big families. We were just a group of three, so it was more space than we needed, but it served its purpose well.Pros: lots of space, well-appointed interior, laundry on-site with a nice new washer/dryer, full kitchen, and excellent climate control.Cons: no kitchen towels provided, somewhat inconsistent communication from the property manager, and very loud exterior maintenance one morning. Landscaping started at 8 AM and continued until early afternoon, and it was so loud it sounded like the crew was inside the house—we couldn’t take work or Zoom calls. There were also barking neighbor dogs and a few other minor annoyances.Suggestions for the owners:• Provide kitchen towels—we had to buy some locally.• Upgrade the outdoor furniture; inexpensive plastic pieces don’t match the quality of the property.• We had issues with the digital lock and never received a response from the property manager.Overall, a good property with a lot going for it, but a few improvements would make the experience much better.
