"I am a female 23 years old and I was traveling with two of my friends. This place is absolutely awful to stay. The area around it is terrifying, especially for young women. I read the reviews on this hotel and they did not describe it accurately. My friends and I checked in, went into the room, (smelled like mildew and wet towel) and immediatelyd booked a new hotel. We made the choice to lose our money and go to the new hotel because it was not worth our safety. I did not get a refund but I didn’t expect to because when I booked, it said non refundable. Do not stay here if you are a women or a solo traveler. The man at the front desk was very rude and off putting, and I didn’t feel safe staying there."

"The breakfast was pretty good. It would be even better if they had fruits and some healthier food. But I am aware that this is too much to expect from a hotel at this price range. They did their best to serve me bread without glutein. The room was rather simple but it was clean and the view was awesome. I wouldn't call it luxurious, but If you are looking for a hotel with a reasonable price, right at the heart of Hamburg, you must put this one at the top of your list."

""The location is unbeatable—right across from Hamburg Central Station. As it was my first trip to Germany, the easy access to public transport made exploring the city a breeze. No car needed! The station has a great supermarket and plenty of eateries. Just a heads-up: there’s no fridge or AC in the room. It wasn't an issue for my early April visit, but I’d recommend staying here during the cooler months. I would definitely return!""
