the first problem was as soon as we got to our room, when the tap at the sink was turned on, the faucet flew off and hit me, water sprayed everywhere, my clothes my toiletries were soaked.This was repaired but no apologies from anyone. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the first night for a very long time, finally shut off, no apologies. At checkout we were extremely delayed as the hotel had not collected the city tax, which at every other hotel we stayed at was due & paid upon check in. This caused us to keep our taxi waiting, again no apologies. The fire alarm went off again the morning we were checking out.

The room was fine - we didn't request a view and did not have one. The amenities in the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner and body lotion) pump bottles didn't work but a small nuisance. The customer service was absolutely fabulous at all times!

There was misrepresentation in the room that we were provided. We had to go out and down an alleyway to get to our door. It was not in the original part of the hotel. There was not easy access the room was musty, smelling very poorly decorated, and as you can see by the pictures looking out the window, not a good atmosphere we would’ve loved to have stayed in the hotel in the nice rooms and had an upgrade, but we were refused that and told there were no rooms available. Very disappointed in that stay.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! The accommodations are a combination of sacred history and relaxing luxury. The service was kind and accommodating. This is my third time staying here and will stay again the next time I’m in Rome!

The hotel is elegant and luxurious. It was the last night of our ten day trip and this hotel was the best, although the most expensive, however if you are looking for a higher end property this is just that. Excellent service and beautiful amenities! I would recommend!!
