off the beaten path

Pros: Location. The hotel also offered free breakfast served on the roof top. It was great. The environment was perfect for the city.
Cons: maybe improve the sound proofing. Early morning trucks and other activity on the roadway could be heard and woke us each day.
Location: perfect walking distance to many attractions. Tourist activities or local dinning.
The hotel is great. it is close be not directly in the middle of the tourist trap location. A 5 minute walk and you can be in the middle of it all or 5 minutes the other way and you find great food the locals enjoy as well. This was a fantastic experience at this hotel.

great hotel for the price!

Pros: Quiet
Staff was friendly and extremely helpful - my only complaint was the shower water could be warmer. Breakfast was fabulous-and what a great view! It was conveniently located to the Termini station and Spanish steps. I would definitely stay here again.

Overpriced - should be a 2 star rating

Cons: No free Internet, Poor breakfast
Nice location and close to tourist attarctions. Small rooms , tacky furnishings, and low amenities for a 4 star hotel. No ironing board or room coffee maker available. Rooms had plastic glasses and expensive internet service. Customer service was unfriendly. They also tried to bill us for an additonal day for breakfest. I would stay at a different location next time in Rome.

Great choice if you get a good price, and don't mind a little attitude

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
They have a good location, are very clean and quiet, but I didn't see a spa (or any such services offered) and they may charge more than necessary. If you love tacky loud interiors, this is the place. I have to say my only objection was that they acted as if they ran a much more prestigious business. Truly high end hotels fall all over themselves to help you and provide an enjoyable stay. Perhaps they don't think they can afford to provide such service. Either way, a little more humility and interest in service with a smile might have been appreciated considering the value of their offerings. The room I got was supposedly a nicer room with a 'view'.

Nice place

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet
This place was nice. Internet was expensive, so had to hunt Around for a cafe with wifi (not hard to find in Rome). Staff was friendly.

Down at the heels & trying to make a come-back

Pros: Free breakfast, great shower
Cons: No free Internet, Poor breakfast, needs redecoration
This is a weird hotel. It needs a LOT of redecoration and renewal. It is priced to be in the Via Veneto but for € 50 more you can get the quality of the Marriott. Minimal accommodations. The Internet capabilities were poor & the entire hotel appears to need repainting.

Perfect fir for my needs

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet
I enjoyed my stay at the Romanico Palace; location is a big plus. Recommendations I got from staff in terms of restaurants were fantastic. Paying for the Internet was a bit disappointing, though. However, I will definetely stay at this hotel on my next visit to Rome.

Great place to arrive to in Rome.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
This was the hotel I booked in advance so we knew where we'd be staying our first couple nights in Rome. We were on a budget but i still wanted something special for my wife's first experience in Rome and she loved it. The room was kinda small but still beautiful and "Roman". The staff was very helpful. But the best part was the view from the roof during the extravagant continental breakfasts.
