A longer walk from the station than we anticipated. There was no kettle in the room. However the staff were friendly and helpful and the room comfortable and clean, and reasonable breakfast.

Our first night was 2 twin beds in a room were air conditioning did not work facing the street. The worst on our trip. They changed us the next day to a room facing the courtyard which improved our stay. Then the toilet acted up. I tried breakfast one day, worse than on an airline and 5 euros. We expected a lot more.

Stayed her for 9 nights. Great facility with friendly staff. About a 15 minute walk to the colosseum. Lots of food around. Our room was cleaned everyday with no worries about our belongings. Highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely the best service. The staff were extra helpful with all requests and questions we had about sights, eating and directions in general. The hotel is beautiful, clean and spacious. It’s been a few weeks since I checked out and I still remember how wonderful it was. I will definitely go back to stay and recommend it to anyone.

Carlo and Patricia were very friendly and attempted to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is very near tram lines that are a relatively short distance to the Termini (train station) and most bus & tram line connections to most of Rome. Hotel not far from large supermarket & great Gelato shop. Hotel beds are hard & free breakfast choices are limited to one type of cereal (corn flakes), croissant & roll with butter and jam, and one choice of tart or sweet bread. It is a good place to stay for a day or two but it gets old beyond that period. Good security as front desk manned 24 hours a day and front desk controls entry to hotel. Windows are mostly sound proof. You will notice the difference as soon as one opens the window (very noisy!). The area around the hotel is a working class neighborhood.

No AC

There is not a 24 hour desk. The AC did not work. We ended up having to leave. We were not going to stay in a hot room like this after a long day on multiple planes and just wanting a comfortable night sleep. We also asked for info about a pharmacy and Carlo said he would tell us tomorrow. We wanted to know upon check in. Check in was rushed. We have stayed at this hotel before and it is not the same. We wouldn't return.

The Hotel was in a nice location, about a 15 minute walk/metro ride to the center of town. The restaurants in the surrounding neighborhood have excellent food. Just wish the showers were a little bigger, but the building is very old, and you get a nice feeling of history while staying there.
