I went to check in after 3pm and my room was not ready! I had been up since 4:30 that morning and was ready to lie down. I am a nurse and I was on a 24 hour call. The lady at the front desk was so uncaring about the room not being ready stating that they were full the day before. She couldn’t even tell me when it would be ready. Unfortunately I got called back to the hospital while I was waiting for the room. I came back about two and a half hours later and the only person at the front desk was the housekeeper. The front desk lady was nowhere to be found. The housekeeper told me I had to wait. After a few minutes I had to basically tell her to go and find the front desk lady. Turns out she was in another guests room. How can no be at the front desk?! I’ve stayed at this la Quinta a few other times without problems but this time I was so upset with the nonchalant attitude of the lady at the front desk I was so ready to ask for a manager.
