"The house and gardens are beautiful and very spacious. The kitchen was new and modern, well stocked with all amenities. There is a pool however, when we were there there was an issue with this so the water levels were quite low. We told the property manager about this at the beginning of our stay and said we could top up the water level with the water house, something they were happy with. They didn’t come over to check the issue however. There were also ducks and a goose living in the garden and unfortunately there were a lot of bird droppings everywhere which we needed to remove occasionally due to this being next to the pool and entrance. The house does not have air condition. We stayed there 5 days end of May in the middle of a heat wave and it was almost unbearable hot on the top floor where the majority of beds were. I don’t think this would be an issue with temperatures below 30 degrees however. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there even with the trouble sleeping due to the heat. My main criticism lies with the management as they showed very little interest in us while we were there. They could not help with bedlinen for a spare mattress we would like to use to sleep downstairs. They ignored our concern about the heat and never came over to check the swimming pool until after we had left. Only then did they come over and wanted to blame us which was unfounded and very surprising and unpleasant. I would not stay there again due to this."
