This property is a great value for the money but would not classify it as a 4 star property. The location is hard to beat for this price and there are plenty of places to choose from for food including a 24 hour grocery store across the street. And if you get sick like I did, there are 2 pharmacies next door. Overall I'm happy with the experience.

A time do hotel foi muito simpático. A localização é ótima. Perto da praia (uma caminhada de 6-8 minutos). A área é movimentada, segura, com muitos bares, restaurantes e lojas. Um supermercado bem em frente. A área da piscina é pequena, mas boa. Café da manhã foi bom (não tinha muitas opções, mas era gostoso). Quarto confortável e o chuveiro era maravilhoso.

The staff are excellent and were able to assist us in English. They are the primary reason we rated so highly. The location is super convenient and walkable and close to the water, and the staff was super knowledgable of the area and offered to help secure discounts at local places. Additionally, you can borrow beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella from the front desk, which is a great touch. Some of the reasons why they lost a star: - The beds are a bit uncomfortable. We could feel the springs through the mattress. - The plumbing of the hotel was set up in a way that we could hear every toilet flush from our upstairs neighbors at random times. - The sheets had some stains on them after a housecleaning visit, and soaps were not filled when we got there (and were not filled post housecleaning visit). Overall, we had a great stay. I think the staff really made it. I would just say if you don't like firm beds I would probably choose another space!

Pros: Professional staff, Staff, Excellent location (walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach, public transport), breakfast is great. Cons: Air-con in room is noisy, Bathroom does not have an exhaust fan.

Excellent choice

This was a great choice in Rio, very close to Copacabana beach. Our room was really spacious with lots of storage and two separate desks and a really good shower. Breakfast had loads of options and the fruit was particularly tasty

This is very nice basic(no frills) property. Walking to the Copacabana beach, lots of dining option also entertainment option(Roxy). The breakfast was very nice especially we loved the fresh juices. The staff was friendly.

There was no electric kettle and tea and coffee bags in the room and so it was not possible to have a cup of tea or coffee in the room. White towels became grey. There were not blankets on the bed and only sheet there(you had to ask for it).

The hotel is only two blocks away from Cobacabana Beach and there are many restaurants and drug stores nearby. The area looks safe. The cecepion staff can speak English and are willing to help on booking tours, give info on currency exchanges. The breakfast is excellent. with all you need in the morning, two different kinds of fresh juices, many kinds of good quality fruite, susages, scrambled eggs, milk, coffee, lots of choices of breads and cakes. Clean lady did very good job in cleaning the room everyday. Highly recommend this hotel.

If I could rate this hotel more than five, I would. My room was large and clean. There was AC. I used it but it was loud. The breakfast was great. I stayed 6 nights. It varied slightly but it works for us (scrambled eggs, sliced hotdogs, pastries, lots of fruits, yogurts, a panini machine (which I used) coffees, teas, cereals) The location is fantastic. It's close to the beach. (the hotel let you borrow chairs and umbrella for free) We walked twice to Ipanema (only 1 mile 1/2) Across from the hotel, there is a big supermarket. We bought our waters and snacks. The most important was the staff. They were all great! They are there to help you. The manager, the receptionists, the people at the pool were all very friendly. They made our vacation a hit! Also metro is nearby. We used it one time. We mostly used Uber. The quality/price for this hotel was outstanding.
