We loved our stay at the Gingerbread Mansion Inn. Our room was comfortable and beautifully maintained, and the entire inn had a warm, elegant Victorian ambience that made it feel like stepping back in time. The common areas were full of character, and the morning light filtering through the stained glass created a truly memorable atmosphere.
Breakfast was wonderful. The gluten-free waffles were delicious, and we appreciated that dietary needs were accommodated without sacrificing quality. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and served in a charming setting.
Of all five overnight stops during our six-day Highway 1 road trip, Ferndale was our favorite town. It was cozy, welcoming, and full of historic charm. The beautifully preserved Victorian architecture, quiet streets, and relaxed pace made it feel like discovering a hidden gem.
Gingerbread Mansion Inn was the perfect place to experience it. We would happily stay here again and would recommend both the inn and Ferndale to anyone looking for a unique Northern California getaway.
