Have stayed here numerous times, used to be great, but has gone downhill. Receptionist was awesome! (Anna). No regular coffee available at all, only decaf. Very disappointing. Room was in a state of disrepair. Missing trim pieces, shower curtain rod was taped in place. Mattresses were horrible and squeaky.

First this is not a “boutique hotel”. It looks like a crappy motel 6 from the 80s that was lightly remodeled. “Breakfast” consisted of cereal, cotton bananas and smooshed muffins. The hotel is not located in a nice are, although the river is across the street. (But out of sight) On top of all of that the pool was broken so my kids couldn’t even swim.

Pool is closed which was the reason for our stay. Rooms are not cleaned well. The sensor for the TV remote kept falling off TV. The mattresses are literally 2 inches thick and horribly uncomfortable. Would never stay here again even if the pool was fixed.

The Expedia customer service person was misleading on this property and pushy and will not use Expedia in the future. First of all, it is a not a boutique property. She said it was a mile and a half away from the town of Fuerndale and it was not. The booking price was very expensive for what we received. It should've been half the price that I paid. The mattress was uncomfortable along with the lumpy pillows, sheets old. The towels were small and lighting in the room was poor. If the room cost would've been half of what I paid it would've been satisfactory-property.

We ended up not staying there. The beds were HORRIBLE. One of them squeaked every time you moved in it. The mattresses were very old and thin. The floor was very dusty.

The cons and then the pros: There are redwood trees outside, but the picture in the ads is somewhat misleading. Some of the furniture in my room was showing its age; a bedside table lamp wouldn't turn off (at 11:00pm, so I didn't bother the management about it till I checked out, and they were very responsive then); upon my arrival, one of the towels was damp; and there was an unpleasant odor in the windowless, unventilated bathroom, which otherwise seemed clean. The safety bar in the bath/shower was in an awkward place, and the bedframe was a heavy metal design which presented a tripping hazard at several points, although it was good that the way the bed was made did not hide the frame, something that would have made it worse. Pros: I could park close to my room, I had a safe stay, and the complimentary breakfast offered variety (including sausage but no eggs). The room did its job and was somewhat spacious.

Calling this a "boutique hotel" is like putting lipstick on a pig. This is 100% a motel. The doors to the rooms are ALL on the outside. There's nothing "boutique" about this. The beds squeaked endlessly and my husband described our bath towels as "having been used to wash cars for the last 30 years" they were so gray. I cannot believe I paid as much for this as I did. I never would've booked this place had I known. Also, they advertise a pool and you get there to see a paper on the door saying "pool closed until further notice". Flat pillows. Honestly, it's a dump.

Boutique hotel is the last way I would describe this place. It was run down, marginally clean and there were zero amenities. I would not recommend it for family travel.

room was spacious and bed comfortable but furniture was a little cheap looking. metal table and chair for eating area, dog area was not kept up overgrown and lots of dry weeds. staff very friendly and hopeful.
