Ragusa is strategically located to visit Eastern Sicily both from a cultural and tourist point of view. The sea is 20 km away (Marina di Ragusa) with sandy beaches and various pubs, bars and excellent fish and meat restaurants. For a cultural vacation Catania and Syracuse are about 100 km away; Noto, Caltagirone and the Vendicari reserve at 50 km; Modica, Comiso, Scicli and Pozzallo are between 15 - 20 km from here.
