Gîte de la Bézardais for 4 people in Dinan, Brittany, France.

This independent Breton house with enclosed courtyard brings you all modern comforts. It is quiet in the countryside, only 3 kms from the center of Dinan and less than 2 of all shops.

On the ground floor, on 40 m2 you have a large living room, with wood stove, books, board games, TV DVD players and CD / radio, and a separate fully equipped kitchen, (fridge / freezer, stove and gas oven, dishwasher, microwave). You can sit there for the meal. You have direct access to the terrace facing south. (plus a WC with washbasin and laundry, adjacent.)

Upstairs, you find two suites with each for a shower room (large shower) and WC closed. Corner rest, wardrobe ... 1 bed 140 X190 for the pink room, and 2 beds 80X190 can be joined for the blue one.

Outside, in the courtyard an equipped terrace (dining table, barbecue, parasol, armchairs), a shelter for the car and / or your bikes, and a bowling green. In addition there are outdoor games.
The cottage has a WIFI internet access, educated dogs are allowed on the ground floor. The cottage is non-smoking. (cot, high chair available on request)

Welcoming and comfortable

Beatrice and Pascal are lovely people, they made us feel at home. Facilities are excellent. Property is calm and peaceful. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Close to Dinan. Secure, private parking on the premises.

Great Gite in France

Just spent 2 weeks in this lovely house/gite. The hosts who live next door are very helpful explaining where to visit in the area and also about the house. The tourist information in the house was mainly in french so not a great help to us. Plenty of space for 2 couples with 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Would have preferred a duvet on bed instead of a throw over but thats a personal choice. Lots of places to visit. We even had a night over in Jersey as ferry from St Malo is only 40 minutes away. The owners even left us a far breton (a traditional french dessert) for our return, which was welcomed and lovely. Loved the location.

Brittany Experience

Pros….comfortable bed but pillows thin and bolster uncomfortable (we did not use) and duvet instead of throw…would be better. Exceptionally good shower, very clean, good washing facilities and outside space. Kitchen well kitted out. Cons…..tourist information very out of date and only in French. Heating boiler did not adequately heat house, on chilly evenings….we were firmly advised not to touch or alter settings…and apparently it was necessary for the owner to enter house to check on regular basis. House very much decorated to owners taste ..with many accessories from its previous life. We loved the location and would happily return to the area again.

Wonderful Home

Superb two bedroom cottage, complete with modern appliances, superb kitchen and household furnishings, and antique furniture and decorations. Our hosts are kind, generous and wonderful people. They treated us like close friends. It's a quiet location with easy access to Dinan and other scenic parts of Brittany. We hope to return someday. If you stay here, you will too.

Best gite we've ever stayed in!

This gite is amazing, truly a home from home. It's spacious, beautifully decorated and the owners have thought of every possible convenience for their guests. The property is extremely well situated, in a quiet lane, and has access to many pretty coastal and inland resorts, most of them being less than a 30 minute drive, with the unmissable Mont St. Michel, being around 40 minutes. Our hosts Beatrice and Pascal were truly wonderful, they were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them, they genuinely put every effort into making your holiday experience the best it could possibly be.We really hope that we are able to return to the gite at some point in the future and can heartily recommend the property to anyone requiring a quiet and comfortable place to stay in a beautiful location. Perfect location & so quiet!

This is a charming Breton cottage that is updated, roomy and nicely furnished, with a well equipped kitchen, top quality bed linens and a large outdoor area with table, chairs and grill. It has covered parking for your car with direct access from the house and is convenient to everything - 5 mins drive to 4 large grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants and all kinds of other stores. It is only 13 mins to the center of Dinan with its Chateau, Cathedral and bell tower and lots of shops and restaurants. It also has easy highway access for exploring other towns and sights in Brittany. Pascal and Beatrice are very warm and welcoming, easy to communicate with and respond quickly. They live next door so they are easily accessible if you have questions. We stayed in their lovely house for 2 weeks and hated to leave. We recommend this property 100% and would be happy to return.

Brittany Adventure

We spent a month at the Gite de la Bezardais and enjoyed every single day. The Gite itself is very comfortable, well appointed with everything we needed for our stay and the location for exploring the many interesting places that of Brittany has to offer is excellent. Even a couple of days exploring the Normandy beaches and of course Bayeux was very convenient. Dinan, for us, was a wonderful surprise and we spent many enjoyable days exploring the town and its surrounds. Beatrice and Pascale are excellent hosts and were always readily available with suggestions for places to visit.

Excellent gite - Beatrice and Pascal are special people who ensure your comfort.

Superb gite! Well designed and beautifully maintained. Beatrice is the perfect hostess. She guided us through a medical problem that would have been difficult to manage without her. She gave generously of her time to ensure our comfort. It was like leaving family when we said "good bye" to Beatrice and Pascal. We stayed 16 days and would have stayed longer.

Peace, Quiet, Calm

This property in Quevert is amazing. It has a huge gated courtyard where one can park their car in the shade on the most notoriously hot day! Patio doors open from the kitchen to an sitting and eating area. Two master bedrooms - both with ensuites grace the 1st floor. The entire house is tastefully decorated and the kitchen, dining room and laundry areas are the best equipped I have seen in the over 20 European VRBOs I have stayed in! The most wonderful part of this rental is its location. Locally, it is one of the last houses on the road so there is almost no traffic; it is quiet and peaceful. Looking further out, it is minutes to Dinan, St. Malo and other wonderful sites in the region. Le Mont-Saint-Michel is easily accessible. The hosts were very helpful, generous and kind. We had a wonderful stay.

A lovely cottage in an ideal location for Dinan and some of the most beautiful parts of Brittany

This gite, which is only a 35 minute drive from the St Malo ferry port, combines the charm of a country cottage with all the facilities that you would expect of modern holiday accommodation. The owners, Pascal and Beatrice were there to greet us on our arrival and showed us around the pristine and very well appointed cottage with its large private garden. For a family of four this is a roomy and generously equipped space with two en-suite bathrooms (with fantastic showers) as well as a third toilet on the ground floor. The kitchen has everything you would expect and the large lounge is a pleasant room with a number of traditional French features. Pascal and Beatrice provided a number of games and activities for visiting families and the garden includes a petanque court. Garden furniture and a barbeque is available for the patio area. The cottage is is Quevert, a village on the outskirts of the beautiful historic town of Dinan. A car journey into the town takes under ten minutes or a taxi fair is under 15 euros. In addition to the famous historic features and medieval architecture, Dinan provides all the shops, bars and restaurants that anyone would need in addition to beautiful riverfront area where boats and canoes can be hired. Quevert itself is a very quiet village and the gite is on a very quiet road from where a number of country walks can be taken.. At the end of a very enjoyable two weeks we were waved off by Beatrice and Pascal who proved to be friendly and thoughtful but unobstrusive hosts. We will most certainly be returning.

Wonderful Everything!

We had a terrific holiday at the House of Bezardais this summer. We weren't there nearly long enough. The house and hosts are delightful. Everything is well kept and easy to use. Our one issue was resolved promptly. The location is really good, it's easy to get to many wonderful places. I highly recommend this location for visitors to Haute Bretagne! Unvergesslicher Aufenthalt

Wir hatten die herrliche, sehr ruhig gelegene Gite gebucht, um Touren in die Bretagne und die Normandie zu unternehmen. Béatrice und Pascal haben uns liebevoll empfangen und uns ausführlich über alles Wichtige im Haus informiert. Wir konnten das Auto gleich in den Carport fahren und unser Gepäck von dort aus bequem über die dort vorhandene zusätzliche Türe direkt ins Haus bringen, was auch im Fall von Regen günstig war. Das umzäunte Haus hat eine große, mit Gartenmöbeln gut ausgestattete Terrasse, Garten und Hof. Durch das verschließbare Tor fühlten wir uns und unser Fahrzeug sicher untergebracht. Béatrice und Pascal gaben uns wertvolle Tipps für unsere Touren in der Umgebung. Dinan war mit dem Auto in ca.10-15 Minuten zu erreichen. Dort gibt es neben einer wunderbaren historischen Altstadt auch gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Lademöglichkeiten für unser Elektrofahrzeug. Aber zurück zum Haus: Die moderne Küche ist mit allen notwendigen Dingen ausgerüstet, das Wohnzimmer traditionell eingerichtet, passend zum Charakter der Gite. Zusätzlich befindet sich im Erdgeschoss eine weitere Toilette sowie ein Vorratsraum mit Waschmaschine. Die beiden liebevoll eingerichteten Schlafzimmer auf der ersten Etage verfügen jeweils über ein eigenes Bad mit Waschplatz, Duschkabine und WC. Es ist schön, dass die Gastgeber ein solch traditionelles Haus weiterhin pflegen.In einem solch traditionellen Haus wohnen zu können, war ein besonderes Erlebnis. Danke an die hervorragenden Gastgeber.

Lieux très calme, reposant et très propre intérieur, comme extérieur. Un véritable havre de paix, que mes enfants et moi-même avons particulièrement apprécié. Ein sehr schönes und sauberes Ferienhaus - Une maison de vacances très agréable et propre

Unsere Familie hatte für fast 2 Wochen einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus, um die wunderschöne Region der Bretagne von hier aus erkunden zu können. Die Lage dafür in der Nähe von Dinan war sehr gut. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten von Mont St-Michel über Saint-Malo bis hin zur Smaragdküste mit dem Cap Fréhel waren innerhalb von einer Stunde mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Auch Rennes und Vannes sind nicht weit entfernt. Die Lage war trotz der Nähe zur N176 sehr ruhig am Rande eines Dorfes. Die wunderschöne Altstadt Dinan selbst und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Die Vermieter Béatrice und Pascal sind sehr gastfreundlich und gaben uns einige sehenswerte Insidertipps. Sie standen auch für Rückfragen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Das Haus war sehr sauber mit sehr guter Ausstattung in einem sehr gutem Zustand. Der Aufenthalt hier ist sehr empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank an Béatrice und Pascal! Notre famille a passé un séjour mémorable dans ce gîte pendant près de 2 semaines pour explorer la belle région de la Bretagne. L'emplacement pour ce près de Dinan était très bon. Tous les principaux sites touristiques du Mont St-Michel à Saint-Malo en passant par la Côte d'Emeraude avec le Cap Fréhel sont accessibles en une heure en voiture. Eine sehr schöne Ferienunterkunft

Wir wurden von unseren Vermietern Beatrice und Pascale sehr freundlich empfangen und erhielten einige gut Tips für unsere geplanten Aktivitäten. Das Haus hatten wir auch aufgrund guter Bewertungen ausgewählt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Es ist ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus, modern renoviert, sehr sauber, gemütlich und praktisch ausgestattet. Die 2 Schlafzimmer mit eigenen Bädern sind der Hit, absolut praktisch und komfortabel. Die schöne Außenterrasse mit Liegestühlen sowie einem Sitzbereich mit Tisch wurde von uns gern genutzt, auch aufgrund der ländlichen und angenehm ruhigen Umgebung. Die zentrale Lage der Unterkunft ist als Ausgangspunkt für viele Unternehmungen sehr praktisch. Unser erster Urlaub in der Bretagne hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder.
