Cosy & Stylish Living Space

Step through the front door into a warm, inviting lounge that comfortably accommodates four guests. The space is stylish yet cosy, with French doors that open wide, bringing in abundant natural light and offering a seamless connection to the outdoors to take in the beauty of Rue de la Madeleine, with its historic surroundings.  

Our fully equipped kitchen ensures you can easily prepare your favourite meals, with modern appliances including an induction hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a cafétière. For your convenience, the cellar (accessible from the front of the house) contains a washing machine, tumble dryer and clothes airer.  

Comfortable Bedrooms for Restful Nights

Upstairs, the first bedroom is spacious and tastefully decorated with French furniture. The king-size bed, large window and wooden flooring create a relaxing atmosphere, while ample storage space and a TV add to your comfort. The newly renovated en-suite bathroom features a walk-in power shower, WC and washbasin.

The second bedroom, located on the top floor, boasts a king-size bed and beautiful French furnishings, a charming Juliet window, stunning beams and a stone wall that highlight the historic character of the property. The ensuite bathroom includes a slipper bath with a shower attachment, WC and washbasin,  Both bedrooms are furnished with high-quality linens and towels for your comfort. Our property has steep, spiral stairs, so we do not recommend it for people with mobility issues.

Pet-Friendly Accommodation

We happily welcome dogs at our gîte, so your furry friends can join in on the adventure! With scenic riverside trails just moments away, your dog will enjoy exploring the beautiful surroundings just as much as you will. Whether it's a leisurely stroll along the River Rance or a day spent discovering the town or heading off to the beach, Dinan is a fantastic place for both you and your pets.

Our gîte is ideally located on the peaceful Rue de la Madeleine, just a short stroll from the beautiful River Rance and minutes away from the heart of Dinan's historic port. Enjoy easy access to quaint cafés, boutique shops and the stunning medieval architecture that defines Dinan. The port area is perfect for leisurely walks, offering a tranquil atmosphere with views of the river and surrounding landscape.  

In the warmer months, Dinan Port comes alive with local markets, festivals and vibrant events, adding to the dynamic atmosphere of this charming town.  

Discover Dinan’s Rich History & Local Attractions

Our location puts you within easy reach of Dinan’s major attractions. Explore the medieval Dinan Castle, climb the town’s famous clock tower, visit the Church of Saint-Sauveur and wander the impressive town ramparts—all within walking distance. The historic Rue du Jerzual, a steep and cobbled street that links the port to the upper town, offers an immersive experience of Dinan's medieval past, with artisan shops, galleries and cafés along the way. While the climb is a bit challenging, the views and experience are well worth it!  

For those looking to avoid the climb, Dinan offers a free Dinamo bus service that connects the port to the hilltop town, making it easy to explore without the effort.  

Explore the Area by Bike or Bus

We provide two complimentary bicycles for you to use during your stay, offering a great way to explore the scenic beauty of Dinan and its surroundings. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can rent additional bicycles from a local shop at the port. For a more leisurely option, the free Dinamo bus service is available to transport you to the town and surrounding areas.
