The room was dated and could do with modernising. However, it was clean and the towels were lovely. There was plenty of hot water. The bed was a little hard and I had to double the duvet and just have a sheet over me (it was warm enough for this time of year). I would use the hotel again as it was okay and good value.

Very disappointed

The key cards weren't working so we couldn't lock the room for the first night/day. Room in need of upgrade, torn net curtains, mould around bathroom fixtures and fittings and general cleanliness below standard I would expect to see for the price paid. If we hadn't been visiting for a family 80th party in the area, we would not have stayed.

Don’t add Breakfast

Paid an extra £20 for breakfast. I came down at 07:00am to find 4 green apples on display, a bowl of chocolate spread, 4 slices of bread left. There was no milk alternative and when asked I was told they were waiting on a delivery. Asked for a refund on breakfast and they couldn’t do it.

Lovely lobby when walking in, after that poor. Ripped carpets, smells, rooms old, tatty, dirty windows, found big ball of hair on the floor in my room. Old furniture in rooms, worn out sofa, didn’t even sit in the arm chair as not clean. Lift not working. Shame rest of hotel not same standard as lobby.

Lovely hotel great restaurant friendly staff room was good big enough for 4 adults. Shower was excellent. Food was lovely from the restaurant
