The check in and response from property maintenace was good althought the overall condition of the cabins and location were less than ideal. There is no internet, we had to drive 10 miles to get service. We were told when people start going to bed you can get service but it wasn't the case. Also, a notice posted on wall about possible lead in water from the Oregon governmental organization was concerning. Not a good experience.

While the fixtures and furnishings of the cabin were very dated, the only thing that really was an issue for us was the cooking pots, pans, and utensils. Those items really need to be replaced.

Corners of bedroom and bathroom floor full of dirt and bugs. If you’re going to mop the floors, then please vacuum the corners. Windows and window sills were filthy with bugs and dirt in bedroom and bathrooms. Also, need hook by shower to hang one’s bath towel on to be able to grab when getting out of shower.

Rooms better for the young & healthy. Nice staff.

I had booked a room above the registration office & store. I had missed that these units all SHARE ONE BATHROOM. Also, the room was VERY small with a double bed pushed against the wall and a narrow doorway width path into the room. Due to some health issues, we could not safely stay in that room. There was a cancellation on a cabin and we were changed to that lovely place. Which was way beyond our expectation and so very much appreciated.

Check in was great. We were unable to connect with the internet the entire time we were there. The cabin was very nice and decorated well. The floors however needed to be moped. You couldn’t walk barefoot in the house without getting dirty socks or feet. Comfortable and met our needs. Overall a good stay.

I feel like we weren’t there long enough to give a full review. I can say the property was very nice and I wished we had booked more than 1 night. The check-in was easy. The main store had gifts, groceries and beer. We didn’t get to experience the diner across the street because we got there too late and left too early. I would love to go back. It was a beautiful area and very peaceful.

When we arrived at 9:00, the office door was locked and no one was around. So we had to drive farther down the road to find lodging elsewhere. Most annoying was that our credit card was charged and no one at the Resort or at Hotels.com has fixed the problem.

Definitely a rustic experience, stepping out to dirt road from your cabin. Amenities were solid, but the bathroom was super tight, the bed a bit too soft, and Wifi is less than spotty and more like non-existent. We enjoyed the outdoorsy experience that it provided.

My stay was wonderful! There's a diner just across the street that is open until 7:00 p.m. and the staff were lovely. The resorts staff was also very pleasant. The same building where you check in also has a small shop on the inside for all your essentials. The shop has drinks, snacks, frozen dinners, and any other small essentials that you might need and possibly forgot during the trip. Any food garbage needed to be taken care of outside in the disposal bins and any remaining food needed to be properly stored. In case any wild animals decided to show up. So make sure to put your food in the fridge. You can park your car right behind the main check in building in the designated spots. You have a sink inside of your room, but it is shared toilets and showers. So in two separate rooms out in the hallway has one shower and one toilet each. Other than the occasional moth visit, my stay was very pleasant. Me and my partner thought the beds were exceptionally comfy. Perfect place to go with friends, significant others, or family. For a nice quiet stay while you visit the surrounding wonders, like Crater Lake!

Place is 'overly quaint'. Much disrepair needed and room tiny with very noisy bed as uncomfortable - didn't sleep the entire night. No hot water in the sink. We would have been more comfortable sleeping in our car.

We assumed that when we booked a room in the lodge that it would be a decent room, even though there was a shared bathroom. The room was smaller than some jail cells that I have seen. A double bed was pushed up against the wall, so that the person sleeping on one side of the bed would have to crawl over the other one. There was no bedside table, so no place to put anything you might want to hand. It was simply impossible. So, I went to the front desk and asked for a refund, and they said it was against their policy. We just left and found a hotel in Medford. It was a horrible mistake to book this place.
