It was a very nice hotel and casino, but they have NO food vending machines at Foxwoods Towers, which is ridiculous for a high rated hotel. People DO get hungry and don't want to walk to a different restaurant in another area of Fox woods, especially late at night. Additionally, there was a light above the bed and TV stand that we could not turn off, which made it hard for us to sleep. Finally, the operator told me there was a food vending machine on the 4th floor, and I searched and there was none. When I called her and told her that she said they should not have taken it out without telling us.... Therefore, there seems to be a lack of communication.

We attended a dance competition and the ease of saying on site was appealing but I would never do it again. Our room was not cleaned well, the room had an awful odor, we were located next to the elevator so it was beyond noisy, and there was stuff on the walls which was likely vomit from a previous guest. Normally I would have called the front desk to be moved but I had been told this was the last room available so I didn’t bother…I really expected much more for the 300+ a night I was spending. I will not recommend the fox tower nor Foxwoods in the future and feel I wasted my money at this point which is really disappointing.

The first room’s shower flooded and we had to move to another room at 10 pm which reeked of stale smoke. I hated to complain but my family member and I are both allergic to smoke smell. Our stay was for 4 nights and we asked for housekeeping service. When they finally came, they left the bed sheets on the bed for me to make the bed. They were accommodating to switch our rooms. The final room was better and didn’t smell of smoke but it was musty and not very clean. My family felt like the 3 bears. This wasn’t our first stay but I hope it will be our last.
