"The house was amazing! Kitchen was fully stocked. House was clean and had everything we needed for my family of 4. The views were spectacular and the beach was pristine! Already booked for vacation next year!"

The Blue Heron Inn
"This place blew our expectations out of the water!!! (No pun intended because it’s literally on the water) it’s so charming and such a great property. We started off with drinks across the street at the Drift which was amazzzzzing and beautiful then headed to the Inn. After a seamless check in we ..."

Waterbird Lakeside Inn
"Big clean room, simple but comfortable. Sadly it was way to hot outside to sit on the balcony! You hear the train running by often at night."

Fairfield Inn and Suites By Marriott Merrillville
"The property is older. The parking lot is spacious enough for the guests but full of large pot holes. It was hot when I was visiting and the AC in the reception area wasn't up to it, I am sure that the staff was quite warm (but they were still helpful and friendly.) My room was clean but there was ..."

Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Michigan City
"The stay was good. No problems checking in or out. The hotel itself was slightly run down. The drains in the shower and sink backed up a bit, but towels and sheets felt clean. The carpet just seemed old. I stayed there with my 4 year old son. For the price I would say it everything was good. We forgot ..."

"The room itself was great. Bathroom could have been slightly more clean. Toilet paper was terrible and the lobby mop bucket smelled funny."

The Blue Heron Inn
"This place blew our expectations out of the water!!! (No pun intended because it’s literally on the water) it’s so charming and such a great property. We started off with drinks across the street at the Drift which was amazzzzzing and beautiful then headed to the Inn. After a seamless check in we went out to the Boardwalk bar for drinks and live music. The service was fantastic and the drinks were great. Once the bar was closing we grabbed our suits and had a night swim in the pool. The rooms could definitely use a little upgrade (which they stated was in progress) there was a big jacuzzi tub in the room that we utilized and then sat outside on the balcony and listened to the lake. Such a perfect relaxing evening!!! The only complaint I would make is the room had been cleaned with Pinesol or something like that and the room REEKED of cleaner and the floor had a slippery film from the mop. I was glad that I brought a fan from home because I had to open the doors and windows to air out the smell while we were downstairs."
