Don was very welcoming but gave us privacy. The location had beautiful views of a pond, forest, and an open field. Our dog loved running in the field and we loved seeing a herd of elk one evening at dusk. The cabin was charming, had everything we needed, was clean, well maintained, and just what we wanted. So close to Crescent Lake and a number of great local parks with access to the Sound! The cabin is even cuter in person than in pictures. The shower was hot, everything was clean, and I very much appreciated that the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking. This was a perfect stay for our short visit to the Olympic Peninsula. The place is right in the heart of all the great hiking. There is a comfortable bed, a kitchen including a stovetop and oven; we had everything we could need. The place was super clean and Don was a super welcoming host - as was his dog Blue! :) the property itself is gorgeous and it made for such a peaceful and relaxing retreat. Incredibly peaceful location! Perfect for exploring both the coastal areas along the Strait and Olympic National Park. The cabin had everything you could possibly need. The host Don and his dog Blue were extremely friendly. The only things that could possibly improve the cabin would be a more comfortable bed and hooks to hang towels up.

The property is located a short distance from Olympic National Park in the woods. It was very quiet and peaceful, situated on 50 acres with a pond and orchard. All of the necessities were provided and then some. There was even a small ice machine outside. The interior was very clean and nicely decorated with nostalgic photos and antiques. The owner was very friendly and wanted to make sure you felt at home.

This is a hidden jewel and amazing property. The owner Don is wonderful and the property is beautiful and a very short drive to lake crescent and the olympic park. The place was incredibly clean and serene and enjoyed fresh apples and berries from his orchard. Price for what you get is amazing as well.
