Book Hotels in Poros

"The hotel is set on a cliff side so has views from every room and area on that side. Both restaurants look out over the sea and so does the pool area. The private beach is quite a small little area with a couple of sun beds which were always taken early, but you can go to the other much larger beach to the right of the hotel. This has sun beds you can pay for. The food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner, although it’s a shame they don’t offer a few more snack options. The pool bar offers meals which were excellent but quite large. We did not have a sea view room and I wish that we had paid to upgrade. Our room overlooked the entrance and the road and although it was fine, the road could be quite noisy. The pool area was quite large and had extremely comfortable beanbags to lie out on! The pool was a good size and the area always so clean. Because the hotel is up on the hillside it is quite difficult to walk to restaurants and shops. You can walk down across the beach and then back up but still have to walk a section of the road which is narrow and no pavement. If you do walk along there are lots of really good restaurants and bars about a 15/ 20 minute walk. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, and would definitely return, but to a sea view!! "

"Apartments were traditional basic Greek, as we expected. But we’re clean and perfectly adequate for what we wanted. The pool and loungers were wonderful - a real key attraction. Not too busy and easily got a longer even in the middle of August. At the pool bar, the food and service was great. Only minor comments are that the bar could be pricey - certainly not somewhere you would want to purchase from all day. But we knew this from other reviews. Also, it is up a big hill. But it is manageable if you are of reasonable fitness, but you wouldn’t want to do it multiple times a day, particularly with kids. So just plan for it!! Taxis were about 7 euros. All in all a wonderful holiday! Thanks!"

"Old box TV, no channels working, a waste of time having it in the room. Furniture in room rundown, no clothes hangers. The bed was very comfortable. Swimming pool was nice, needs more seating areas & lounge beds. No restaurant/food, snacks or water available on site, you need to drive to get these. Dinner & Breakfast needs to be pre booked in advance when not purchased in a package. Internet was ok. Heaps of parking available. "

"The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. We did two tours that the concierge recommended and loved them. The restaurant has the best food on the island. Highly recommend! "
