Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort
"The property's outlook was great. However, we were disappointed of 2 major things: we requested a room overlooking the beach. The room we got was overlooking the streets. When brought it up to the front desk's attention(the same clerk who checked us in) said because we booked from a 3rd party, they're too full to accommodate our request. Secondly, the shower tub in our room was so outdated, that it had mildew like stain all around it. Perhaps it's because we booked our room using a third party . Therefore, we ended up with a crappie room with a crappie shower tub. Like I mentioned before, the facility is very beautiful on the surface. We like the fact that it's right by the beach. The lobby is a very beautiful. In our opinion, the staff is far from being friendly. If a check in staff at any hotel cannot say " welcome , enjoy your stay" during check ins, and " thank you for choosing us or staying with us" upon check outs", it's a staff that lacks proper training, in my opinion."
