"The hotel is beautiful. Very clean and the staff is great. The casino has a good mix of games, but we found it to be very smoke filled. If you are a non smoker, it is definitely a lot. The only real disappointment of our stay was the food. The buffet was very sub par in comparison to the other California casinos we frequent. The Asian restaurant had very low quality meat in their dishes. The beef was spongey and we couldn't eat it. The cafes had pre-made foods, all of which were refrigerated and tasted like it. Nothing was freshly made. We would recommend leaving the property and visiting down town placerville for a decent meal."
