"The hotel is located at the end of the road on a cliff with an amazing view and crashing waves. Not a swimming beach but you can walk just 5 minutes to get to the beach or 1.5 miles hike to get to another beach. Both lovely and clean and swimmable. There is a restaurant on site and the food and drink were very good and prices fair. The staff was friendly and attentive. We stayed in a lovely ocean front cottage. It was simple and comfortable. It had both ceiling fan and air conditioning. The electric went out several times in the night but the generator turned on so quickly it was never so noticeable. The water pressure is non existent but also not an issue. The view made it all well worth it. We loved it!"

"The rooms are very close to the hotel beach bar/club and they play music very loud, until 4am on our first night (last night of carnival) and 1am on other nights. It starts again at 10am in the morning so if you’d like to join the club 18-30 experience drinking around the pool while listening to thudding bass all day then this might be the place for you. If you’d like it a little quieter and with a basic level of competence (we had to chase for room cleaning, including emptying the open top toilet bin, they seem to regard it as an extra) then don’t stay here. We would have left after the first night if it was refundable. Hotel looks stylish, though rooms are small, location is great (right on the beach) and staff friendly- no mean feat given the number of guests furiously complaining each day. but there are much better options nearby."
