Pleasant stay

Comfortable home for our family and pet. Listing is accurate and we found it to be more spacious in the common areas than the photos portrayed. Lovely lawn area and outdoor amenities .Lake was not open to swimming but the neighborhood pool was great.Good location for activities hiking and grocery shopping. Several issues with home utilities and appliances were present upon our arrival. Management company was very responsive but some concerns need to be addressed beyond our stay. Overall we had a very nice time.

Relaxing vacation at the lake

The setup was perfect and extremely comfortable for the entire family. My family and I had a great time enjoying the kayaks and paddle boards during our stay. We are already planning to book this house again in the near future.

Great host

Beautiful location. Sadly the weather did not permit us to use the amenities, but we still had a wonderful time. We did buy dura flame logs to make use of the fire pit in the rain. Everything was very clean and the views are awesome. I would definitely go back, but I hope for nicer weather. Check in was mildly confusing because the link on AvantStay did not work and I did need to call for help. Otherwise, everything excepting the weather was perfect.

Easter Weekend

My and my family had a great time. Questions were answered quickly. Home was clean and fully stocked with plenty of extra paper towels, towel paper, towels and plenty of blankets for the cold nights on the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

Fall in the poconos

Fantastic 4 nite stay here. We always hit the poconos in the fall, and this house was cool. Beautiful back yard right on summit lake. We enjoyed the kayaks, hot tub and fireplaces. Abundance of firewood, little private dock was nice, saw lots of wildlife. Gorgeous sunrises and even a rainbow right over the lake. House was nice, we spent most of our time out back. Groceries and town close by. Thanks we hope to be back!

Peak for the leaves changing. Love the lake and the hot tub. Enjoyed Poconos Summit and Tobyhanna Lake. Good meals at Jubilee which is about the only restaurant around. Overall, relaxing enjoyable couple of days.

Nice weekend getaway

Comfortable home on a lovely lake with swans and geese. The whole family had a good time and unwound. Really enjoyed SUP and kayaking. I took away a star due to the weak water filtration system in the house. The kitchen is pretty stocked with all the essentials save for wine glasses and the pots/cookware are pretty scratched up.

Good choice for a short family vacation

Home layout is good for 2 family to stay and share . Not enough space for personal items storage so you need to keep everything in your luggage except there are lots of hangers to use. Overall, it is a good choice to go with family for vacation and you will not be bored. We did fishing and caught many small ones, go kayaking to explore the lake and used the fire pit lighten our night time family together! Supermarkets CVS are all within 5-10 mins so it is easy to get food and whatever. We have a wonderful time there! Thank you!

First Time In The Poconos

This year the family choose a Pocono vacation experience after numerous New England State vacations. Our experience equaled most of our New England vacations with the extra benefit of an excellent rental management service and very close access to shops, markets and added attractions i.e. Golf, water park, Pocono Raceway. A great time was had by all!!

Kalahari Dance Competition

This rental was perfect for our family. Less than 5 minutes to Kalahari resort. Property was clean and just as advertised. Gorgeous spot and I highly recommend anyone looking at this property to book it, you’ll not be disappointed!

Beautiful home and location!

We had a great time in this home! The only thing that kept us from giving a full 5 star rating is the lack of functionality in a few areas. The biggest one being the little to none clothing storage. There were no dressers, most rooms didn't have a closet, and those that did only had a couple hangers. We pretty much had to live out of our suitcases which was disappointing. Same with the bathrooms - there was no place to be able to put your things other than a very small shelf which isn't reasonable for a home that's supposed to suit 8 people. Don't get me wrong - the house is absolutely beautiful! But if felt like a "staged home" in a lot of ways that isn't always the most functional. HOWEVER, we still had a lovely time and really enjoyed many things about the home: electric fireplace, smart thermostat, hot tub, fire pit, easily accessible dock (even caught a few fish!), etc. Just add a bit more functional items and storage and it would be absolutely perfect!
