For a hotel next to the freeway, it’s very good. Half the rooms have a view of the Berkeley hills, where you can make out the UC Berkeley bell tower (campanile). These rooms are away from the freeway. The San Francisco Bay view is great; you can see the bay bridge, the skyline of San Francisco behind it, the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance.

Lovely stay and I’m very particular…. Rarely is the first room I’m offered spot on for me… and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the room that I was assigned. Breakfast was pricey but worth it… very tasty. Would definitely stay again.

Miguel at the front desk was great, the room was clean, the bath tub was not leveled correct and a big puddle of water will remain after taking a shower, some of the furniture was chipped and didn’t look appealing, I got a bay view room, and it was disappointed to find the window was like 30 inches tall! It was a joke, I was expecting almost from floor to ceiling especially since we pay extra to get this view!

The hotel had old interior. Bed was mediocre. The hallway had a very strong scent most likely to mask the musky smell. I would not recommend this place.
