Breakfast was good, but they were out of one of the cereals and didn't refill it. My door stop in my room was very loose, and essentially useless.

If you have no other choice or budget is tight, stay here but MAN, this place had so many things wrong. Let’s start with getting to the room…. IT SMELLED like someone was smoking cigarettes for 20 years straight in the halls, then when we got to our room, there was missing lightbulbs, nonworking appliances, and light fixtures, horrible drain, and smell in the bathroom after you used it and for some reason, our sink would clog up after washing our hands. Truly, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had with cleanliness and man the walls must’ve been made from paper. You could hear a mouse pee on cotton with how thin these walls were.

Room and refrigerator smelled like old Chinese food. Room had a window style unit that smelled like food grease when turned on. Room surfaces were coated in grease and I had to ask for some kind of cleaner and paper towels to wipe the surface to put my things on the counters and I was given a plastic cup of laundry detergent. Pillows smelled like unwashed hair and body odor. Floor was sticky and bathroom door stuck half way open.

It was overall an okay hotel there isn’t much to complain about other than the smell when we first got to our hotel room. It just smelled kind of old. Other than that it was pretty good the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The included breakfast was pretty standard but also really good.

We were very thankful for all the help that Kirsten at the front desk provided for us. We made a mistake by booking a queen bedroom. She worked very hard to accommodate us and have us moved to a king bedroom. She was very friendly, courteous and attentive to all of our needs. She is an exceptional employee. The manager Neilish was also wonderful and personally explained, and apologized for an elevator issue and offered to help us get our bags down when we checked out. We stayed on two separate occasions in 2 weeks. We asked if we could have the same room on our return and in spite of being very busy, he saved the room for us.

I have stayed here twice, when in Pittsburgh. It is a good value. The rooms are nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful with hot and cold options.
